So far, I have won 2 $5 prizes and 1 $10 prize from the jcp button codes. Today I bought my 5 year old a shirt and pants from the Okie Dokie line for $3 total for both pieces. I bought my husband a pair of soft sleep pants for $1 and I bought myself a scarf for $2 using my prize certificates. Six bucks total out of pocket and I have more buttons to enter tomorrow!

Anyone else have a good experience redeeming the button prizes? The JCP I go to is one of the new style stores and it's really nice in there.

I've earned $85 dollars so far in rewards. I've bought tons of Christmas presents. I have never been in JcPenney as much as I have in the last 2 weeks. I love this button thing.

I am an associate at JCP. We thought at my store that the button would be cheesy. Still kind of do, but many customers have earned 5 or 10$ certificates and we had a customer win a 100$ gift card.

Be kind to us workers during this season, the stores have been a complete disaster and we are trying our best!
Glad you both won something!

I have to say that the associates have been really nice in my store. I have completed mutiple transactions and they have been sooo nice. I have been lucky enough to win a $250 e -certificate, along with several other 5 & 10 certificates. LOVE THIS BUTTON GAME !!!!

Bought my DH a sports jacket for $10. It was originally $65, on clearance for $30, rang up at $20, and I used a $10 holiday gift certificate. Today my DD and I used three $10 gift certificates to get a Lulu make-up case and compact mirror for free and a Yankees t-shirt for DH for $2.00.

I spent $47 the other day and won $15 from buttons to go back and spend. I will probably try to get something for DD18. I love the buttons! They are so cute but I haven't figured out what to do with them yet. I hope to collect more this week.

I won $90.

I completely replaced the towels for my master bathroom. We got some really nice fluffy, quick drying pretty ones.

I also got 2 sweaters, a hat, a TShirt and some hand towels for I think $24 after the certificates.

Loved getting the towels free.

I got two buttons yesterday and completely forgot about them! Thanks for the reminder. Going to check them now... :cheer2:

BUMMER. Both duds.

Got both my little girls a pair of pink sketchers for $7 a piece! Not too shabby!!!

a VERY nice Dis'er sent me 2 codes and one was for $50!!!!!!!! We used it to get items for 2 Secret Santa families~and when I was at the checkout the cashier gave me 8 more buttons. 3 of those were winners with a $10, $5 and $5 , so another $20! Our homeowners does the Secret Santa each year so I suggested to the neighborhood about the JCP button promo, and they are in!:thumbsup2

I plan to use the $20 and any other we receive for the residents at the Senior Living my mom is at..our budget is pretty tight so the JCP program is letting us continue to give when we thought we would have to cut back, SWEET!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question about the 'holiday certificates'. Today I won a $10 certificate, and I have a lot more buttons to enter over the next several days. If I win another $10 certificate (or more than one more) can I combine them in one purchase or does each certficate need to be used for a separate transaction? So if I have $20 in certficates, can I get a $20 item for free or I do just get $10 off that item and then need to use the other certificate on a separate item/transaction?

Separate transactions, but you could ring up 2 items separately & use 2 codes that way.

So far I have gotten my DD9 2 pairs of sleep pants for free and gotten my DD14 2 long sleeved shirts for free, and 2 camis for $2. I bought my son a nice flannel shirt for $10 just because I liked it.

My 9 year old loves collecting the buttons.

I'm loving the buttons! In a perfect world we could win tickets to see Ellen but $10 certificates are good.

They had the Jake toys in sale so we got Tick Tock Croc/ a pair of socks & Hook with his boat/a headband for free. The jake toys were $8.

So far I was able to get two youth Adidas Wis Badger sweatshirts marked from $25 down to $17. After two $10 certs, I got them for $7 each.
I got a Wis badger winter hat, originally $15, marked down to $10, and then free with a $10 cert.
And lastly, I got a Justin Bieber fleece nightshirt originally $10, marked down to $6, and only $1 with a $5 cert.

So two sweatshirts, a winter hat and a nightshirt for $15 total out of pocket.

Yea! I am really enjoying shopping this year :)

I think it depends on your store. I have been combining like certificates with no problem. If I tried to use a $10 and $5 together it will not let me, but I have stacked 4 $10's with no problem.

I have been stocking up on K-cups. I get the $12 boxes and use 2 $5 certificates making them $2 each. I do not feel guilty having 2 cups a day when I am only paying about $0.11 a cup!!
