Morning J's & K's - :)

It was 80 here yest. - suppose to be close to that again today --- maybe we'll be swimming for Christmas!!! :rotfl: I'm so not ready for xmas yet - I've got to get busy!!! LOL Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

I'm so glad you stopped in Wendy  Life sounds busy!
:goodvibes

...wish I could....we WERE s'posed to go to WDW for Christmas this year, and since it's pretty much a done deal that we aren't, Christmas will seem like "Blah"....plus, there's the factor of my brother still in the hospital...
What happened to your brother??

We leave tomorrow.

A couple of last minute things thrown into the bags tonight and we'll be out the door around 7:30 AM (for a 10:30 flight) tomorrow.

It's been a crazy whirlwind at work this past week...which makes the vacation all that much nicer (and extracting myself from "the office" today all that much more difficult).

YAY - have a wonderful time!! :)

Tomorrow is finally my big day when I will become a British citizen. I can't wait.

Corinna

What month is this?!!! :rotfl2: ATL tied the record high today!

I am at an ATL Airport hotel for the night -- leaving for Colorado Springs early tomorrow morning. I know I'll regret it, but I just couldn't bring my winter coat!! I brought a jacket. How do you think I'll do in 20 degree weather?!! :cold:

:rotfl:

I was in Colorado Spring this time last year, and they had a freak blizzard, record lows of Negative 14 degrees, and snow drift of 5 feet! Of course I only took a light jacket....

Stay warm my friend.

Hit the mid-70s again today! :yay: but I fear that tomorrow is going to bring a blast of reality. :(

Happy travels, everyone!!!

Good morning Js & Ks! :goodvibes

Brandi, not too bad so far!! Unfortunately, this area is also experiencing drought conditions -- everything looks so brown. :worried: No snow on the mountains here yet. :confused3 Snow is in the forecast for Saturday or Sunday -- we leave Saturday. :(

The flight from ATL to DEN was fine (although we were on a small jet aircraft - 18 rows! (but at least it was a jet!) :rolleyes1 The flight from Denver to Colorado Springs was......... well, a white-knuckler to say the least! I am not a fan of turboprops! Thank goodness air time was only 15 minutes!! :rotfl:

Corinna: Congratulations on your citizenship! Enjoy your special day!

What happened to your brother??

....in the hospital since October 22....4 amputations on his foot, losing his eyesight, 3 bacterial infections [he's STILL in isolation], and a case of vertigo now....

In January when we were here, we did just that -- everyone flew into Denver, then we got rental cars and drove (2 or 3 to a car :goodvibes).

Someone in the Travel Dept got the bright idea that we should all fly into CO Springs -- that resulted in some of our group having 3 flights, changing planes in 2 different cities. :sad2: What were they drinking when they came up with that plan?!!! :rotfl2:
