Does anyone know at what age virgin stop the kids pack? What do teenagers get? Is the amenity pack outbound or inbound? And lastly are the headphones any good or should we take our own. Thanks guys :)

my 12 year old son got a kids pack last year if that helps, we used our own head phones

I would guess age 12 ish as that in when they change to an adult fare however for anything over about 6 or 7 i would say they are a waste of time.

Amenity kits are only supplied on night flights now.

Always take our headphones haven't used theirs for years.

I always use their headphones as I don't take an ipod/ipad only my kindle and I find them sufficient. DH and the boys use their own as they take them to use with their "toys" :rotfl2:

I like that one. I bought a really good pair years ago and they go everywhere with me. Nearing the end of their life now. Maybe have to retire them soon in favour of a new pair... If only I could get another pair of foldable seinhouser (Prob speiing that VERY wrong) for under £20 like the last ones???

We will use theirs, just find it easier. Of note, I have tried to book a childs meal for Dec 6th for our 12 year old. On line the choices are not that appealing, veggie, Muslim, Hindu, salt free. Not a childs meal in sight.:confused3

You should try ordering a dairy free meal martin:rotfl2:

My middle DD is allergic to all dairy products & the only meal they can offer her is vegan which is usually some curried veg slop :scared: you should see some of the food she's been given over the years :scared1:

It really makes me :mad:when they cater for religious beliefs as well as vegetarians (and don't get me wrong everyone is entitled to there own opinions) but when it's a matter of a child's health and its not even an issue then I get really cross :headache: I always just take a meal for her in a foil takeaway type container&ask the cabin crew if they will heat it for me when they have there ovens on :thumbsup2

Yep, they used to give them out on all flights but in the last couple of weeks the have stopped supplying them on day flights so you will only get them inbound now.

12 is on an adult fare hence no child's meal option - I believe you call to request one.
