Suggestion for anyone wanting to get together with others - there are a few WDW groups on Meet-Up.com that have meets scheduled for the month. Some of the groups also let you post your own.

I'll be at Pop Century solo for a few days in December before my kids fly in for our Disney Fantasy cruise. i enjoy touring the resorts and the parks. If anyone would like to meet up for a snack, meal or a few rides, I'm game.

I will be making my first solo trip 12/16 - 12/23. It is a last minute trip as a friend had time share points he couldn't use before the end of the month and would lose them. So I will be staying off property (gasp!).

I'm brand new here, but a friend from another group told me about this thread so I surfed on over. I'll be in Orlando solo 12/6-11 and I see some of you will be too! My trip is part work, part play so my time is a bit limited, but "drinking around the world" on the evening of the 7th sounds like fun! Hope to connect with some of you there.

For the first time, I'm going solo too. Sandy the hurricane had a lot to do with this decision. My DH cannot leave work since they lost a week during the storm. It's only a few nights and I have a lot booked. Part of me is thinking of canceling. The other part is telling myself it will be fun?? I'm more worried about traveling alone and dining by myself than park touring or relaxing at the resort. These will be the highlights of being on my own :-0)

Me too! I'm also very independent in every day life but I have to admit that a week at WDW alone is making me just a little bit nervous. I think once we get there and get into Disney mode, we'll be fine!

I am not very independent in everyday life but @ WDW you don't have much time to feel lonely! This is about the only place I will travel alone. If anyone wants to swap phone numbers in case they get lonely, or just want to meet up for a snack or a ride, that works fine for me.
