December 2012 solo trips?

I looked at the pages here and did not see a Dec 2012 thread going on. Maybe it is buried pages back?

I will be there 12/4-12, hoping to see some of the other solos who will be there then.

Well I wont quite be solo anymore but I will be there from Dec 6-11th (off property on the 6th but in Downtown, at wilderness lodge from the 7-11th). I now have an old friend and her son who will be there from the 7th to the 9th as well as another friend who is there with his family from the 6th to the 15 but we will all be up for grown up things in the evening, including the extra magic hours at epcot on the 7th (drinking around the world anyone?)

I'm there 12/14 to 12/19. I'm very excited but now I'm starting to get a little nervous that I'll be lonely. It's my first solo trip. Maybe it's normal. I am pretty independent in my every day life so hopefully, this will pass.

Me too! I'm also very independent in every day life but I have to admit that a week at WDW alone is making me just a little bit nervous. I think once we get there and get into Disney mode, we'll be fine!

For the first time, I'm going solo too. Sandy the hurricane had a lot to do with this decision. My DH cannot leave work since they lost a week during the storm. It's only a few nights and I have a lot booked. Part of me is thinking of canceling. The other part is telling myself it will be fun?? I'm more worried about traveling alone and dining by myself than park touring or relaxing at the resort. These will be the highlights of being on my own :-0)

I'll be at Pop Century solo for a few days in December before my kids fly in for our Disney Fantasy cruise. i enjoy touring the resorts and the parks. If anyone would like to meet up for a snack, meal or a few rides, I'm game.

Might I propose Drinking Around the World for Friday, Dec. 7 as there are extra magic hours until 12:30am at Epcot that night. Start at the Rose & Crown sometime between 7-9 (we can finalize the time closer to the date). All welcome. Who is in?
