Would this be too many/too few ADRs?

Our arrival day is now officially 171 days away and I've made yet another adjustment to our dinner reservation today - just can't stop looking at them since they were first booked at 180-day out! :lmao: In the past, we've never made any ADRs before, so I'm not sure if I've planned enough or too much eating for our weeklong stay :rotfl:

Day 0
arrival day, no ADR

Day 1
Yet & Yaki for lunch
The Wave for dinner <- is it worth going? We're staying at BLT, and thought that we'll stop back for dinner after AK all day before heading to EMH at MK.

Day 2
Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast
Le Cellier for lunch
no dinner ADR as we'll be taking Pontoon boat for Illuminations, so probably just some QS dinner.

Day 3
dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby with Fantasmic package

Day 4
Be Our Guest for an early dinner

Day 5
Victoria & Albert's Chef's Table

Day 6
Narcoossee's

For breakfast, we'll most likely just have something in our room since we'll have a full kitchen. For lunch, I'm trying to avoid making any ADR to allow for more flexibility in the park, but I'm not sure if it would be difficult to get any table at a QS location during lunch in May? I don't think the week before Memorial Day is particularly high season, but it's been a long time since we were last at WDW, so any suggestions appreciated. :)

Last thing, we're thinking about getting a TiW card and believe that this will be better value than the DDP. Is this really true based on our ADRs?

I don't think I would do breakfast at CRT and lunch at LeCellier the same day, thats two heavy meals pretty close together.

I agree, unless the CRT was very early, and LeCellier was a mid-afternoon luncheon.

The same with Yak and Yeti and the Wave.

I generally do 1 table service per day, normally for lunch. But I only make 3 or 4 ADRs prior to a 7 or 8 day trip, the rest of the ADR I make either same day or day before. And if I don't get my first choice of restaurant...oh well.

That is all assuming you are not on a Dining Plan and need to make those ADRs to make the plan worth it.

TIW would definitely save you money. Signature meals aren't usually the best "value" on the DDP since they take two table service credits, and you could theoretically get more "money's worth" by booking two non-signature table service meals instead. That said, we're still eating at least one sig while we're on the DDP, just because it's where we want to eat and we like the relative simplicity of the DDP.

TIW would probably nearly pay for itself at Victoria and Albert's alone! If it's that OR the DDP, I'd opt for TIW.

Overall, the TiW is probably a better "value" unless you usually order a drink, entree, and dessert at every meal (for every person in your party). Just note that the TiW is not accepted at Yak & Yeti, nor it is accepted for the Chef's Table at V&A. You can find a full list of participating locations at:
http://tablesinwonderland.com/

Also, given that you have a TS planned for every day and four "Signature" places (Le Cellier, CRT, Nacroossee's, HBD), you'd end up having to pay for some of your meals OOP anyway.

As others have said, a TS breakfast followed by a TS lunch is usually a lot of food. I would consider either having a very early breakfast and then a later lunch or moving one of the two meals to a different day.

The dining plan is based on the number of nights you'll be staying in DW so if you're planning on the regular DDP (includes 1 TS credit per night) you already have 11 credits listed so you'll need to pay for some OOP. On the other hand, if you're doing the Deluxe Dining plan and you're staying for 6 or 7 nights (either 18 or 21 dining credits), you're under the threshhold that makes the DxDDP a good value. Typically you'll want to schedule at least 75% of your credits for TS.

If you're thinking of getting the TiW, you'll cover the cost of the card when you spend $500 if the TiW costs $100 or $625 if you pay $125. Besides V&A Chef's Table and Yak & Yeti, the Fantasmic! Dining Package is also not included in the TiW. Likewise the only QS places that accept TiW are in resorts that don't have a TS restaurant and several of the QS places in AK.

Edited: TiW website has new prices for TiW - AP and DVC members pay $100, FL residents pay $125.

Many thanks for the replies!

I didn't even think that it'll be too much for CRT and Le Cellier on the same day. Le Cellier is currently booked for 12:45pm (CRT at 8:05), perhaps I'll try to move it to 1:30pm for a late lunch...

Is The Wave worth trying? 3 of the 4 adults are quite into food (hence all the signature choices ;)) Given we've got Yak&Yeti the same day, is the food at Wave worth a try? I guess we could also cancel that and do walk-in if we feel like food. How easy/difficult is it to do walk-in in May at Wave?
