Flying Sunday! No planning !

I managed to grab a great deal on seats and am taking my family to Orlando on Sunday for my wife's 40th !

Had a downer Tuesday, I woke up with a real sore throat and headache, but a miracle has occurred - I am awake now with no symptoms of a cold !

Really looking forward to the trip, will be the first time I have planned nothing for the fortnight, other than two reservations.

We are going to do the thing as we go for a change.

Just hoping it's nice and warm, having said that compared to here, that's not a worry !

Daniel, because of his Autism doesn't understand. He hates leaving the house and it's a challenge daily, but he's ok once we get out, as long as Catherine doesn't leave his view. He has no concept of time, he gets up constantly to check that his school things are not in the hall.

Hannah can't wait !

I am so pleased for you - is Daniel fully off his special milk now? I know he had his tube out. If so that must have made life a bit easier arranging this trip.

He eats ! We visited Graz for a second time and they managed it !

Puree only and he still has to have milk also, but a world away from where he was...

We had a similar issue with Ethan as he was very, very prem. He totally refused to eat or drink as he also had reflux and he was emotionally scared as he was on a ventilator for the first 7 months after he was born so was tube fed. He also started to eat after being on an eating program at Great Ormond Street and now live with his head in the fridge ....... my best advise for you Kevin is start saving now as your weekly food bill will one day be huge

We had a similar issue with Ethan as he was very, very prem. He totally refused to eat or drink as he also had reflux and he was emotionally scared as he was on a ventilator for the first 7 months after he was born so was tube fed. He also started to eat after being on an eating program at Great Ormond Street and now live with his head in the fridge ....... my best advise for you Kevin is start saving now as your weekly food bill will one day be huge

We went to great Ormond Street for two years and got nowhere. Hence me going abroad to the only specialist eating clinic there is.

The other issue is Dan is severely Autistic also. He's an amazing child.
