Pescetarians at Biergarten?

We are planning our January trip to the world right now and I'm finishing up ADRs. Our entire family (me, dh, ds13, dd9, dd5) are pescetarian and do not eat any meat except for fish and shellfish. I'd really like to go to biergarten but I'm afraid we won't have anything to eat. Have any other pescetarian a or vegetarians eaten there and enjoyed it? Would really appreciate the advice! TIA

Not a vegetarian or a pescetarian but I can tell you that the salmon at Biergarten is delicious! I eat meat but always look forward to this salmon dish. I can't say for sure but I think there is also shrimp ( you have to peel it). There is also a nice selection of salads (the cucumber salad is awesome), potatoes, spaetzle, vegetables, and my DD's favorite mac n' cheese. The show, music and dancing, and the beautiful outdoor like atmosphere in the place are worth the limited food choices. Enjoy!

They do have a pretty large selection of salads, I am waiting patiently for their beet salad and pretzel rolls. They rotate their soup choices - I know they had cauliflower soup one night that people rave about, but I don't know the schedule for their soup rotation.
Here is a list of their salads from another site:
Cold Buffet Items

Gemischter Salat (Mixed Green Salad)
Tarragon-Mustard - Dressing
Krauter Dressing
Creamy Herb Dressing
Bayrischer Kraut Salat (Bavarian Cabbage Salad)
Gurken Salat (Cucumber-Dill Salad)
Rote Beete Salat (Pickled Red Beet Salad)
Nudel Salat (Macaroni Salad)
Bohnen Salat (Assorted Bean Salad)
Bayrischer Wurst Salat (Bavarian Sausage Salad)
Tomaten Salat mit Basilikum (Tomato Salad with Fresh Basil)
Kartoffel Salat (Warm German Potato Salad)
Wurst Platte mit Schinkenwurst, Landjager, und Bologna (Sausage Selection with sliced Ham Bologna, Landjager and Ring Bologna)
Senfgurken (Mustard Pickles)
Sulze mit Remouladen (Head Cheese with Sauce Remoulade)
Berliner Bouletten (Cold Meat Patties)

Thanks so much! I've read the menu at allears a few times but I feel much better hearing from people who have been there.

If there is a good salmon, sides and salads I know we'll be set. I wonder if the potato salads have bacon in them...hope not! :)

There is an overwhelming "baloney" meat on the salad bar, though. Plus Meatballs and gravy, carved pork roast, can't remember any other meats. As long as you go in expecting to not eat at least half the buffet, you should be fine.

I eat fish and poultry, but not red meat or pork (not sure if there's a word for that, ha), and am also very picky. I have eaten there twice and while I don't remember specifically what I had, I know that I didn't leave hungry. I think you will find a great variety of items on the buffet that are either meatless or only contain fish.

I was there in October & loved the salmon they had & the cauliflower soup was excellent :) Mac & chz was good too. enjoy!

I'm a pescetarian - I was there in September and was shocked at how full my plates got (yes, I had multiple plates)! I had salad (their dressing is delicious), beets, pretzel rolls (MY FAVORITE), salmon, spatzle, tons of potatoes, soup (it was cauliflower)...and then dessert! Fruit, strudel, and my favorite was the bavarian cheesecake. I left feeling fuller than I've ever felt in my whole life, and can't wait to go back! It was delicious.

Yay, I'm so excited now! Now I just have to find an open ressie...:)

I love the warm potato salad and from what I remember, it didn't have bacon....I've never tried the salmon, but now that I've read other people's views on it, I'll definitely be trying that :thumbsup2

. . . Our entire family (me, dh, ds13, dd9, dd5) are pescetarian and do not eat any meat except for fish and shellfish . . .

1) I am glad you explained the term.
2) For a minute I was going to say that many Germans are Lutheran.
