how do do disney in july and Aug with the heat
We've done July/August the last 2 summers. We stayed hydrated--ice water is free from vendors in the park--and went back to the room during the height of the heat in the afternoon. We would come back out in the evening for dinner and EMH.
Honestly, it wasn't that bad. Or at least not as bad as I had anticipated.

I love the loooooonnnnnngggggg hours in the summer. We stay in the parks until close. The evenings are beautiful in all parks. The crowds slowly dwindle away as the evening gets later.
But I think having a hopper option is important in the summer. It makes it easier to go into one park early, go back to room and then go into a late closing park for the evening.
4th of July in Epcot was one of my favorite days ever.

i'm sorry, didn't quite catch that, what are the hours in the summer?
My avatar is from Dumbo at 2:00 or 3:00 in morning. My kids made me wait to be the last person on the ride before close. It was obviously an EMH night.
