For The Love of Disney - More pics, less talk

Just caught up and LOVE your amazing photos

I saw you posting on someone else's TR that you were "trying to learn" more about photography but wow - you don't look like you need "L Plates" to me :)

I really like this way of doing a TR as well (park by park etc)

Can't wait for more!!!!

Apologies for the lengthy absence. The truth is ...... I forgot about this with all the goings on of life in general and remembered when I came back to check for updates on a few TR's I've been following :guilty:

Any photos from Tove this trip?

She took a few Nigel - not as many as previously and after a crash course in exposure on my 'big' camera she enjoyed making me pose (like she was a blooming film director :lmao:) and taking photos with the DSLR after which she announced in a very matter of fact tone "I like your camera now. Is anywhere open for icecream?"

Thank you Linda x
I really am still learning. I always loved taking photos but it was only since around May this year when I really started to work on understanding the technical aspects of photography and I'm still slightly overwhelmed by it all. The main thing is I really enjoyed it, even the mistakes I made - because I learned so much through trial (and lots of) error :goodvibes

The park by park style is due to part laziness I'm afraid. That, and not keeping a daily journal this year made it impossible to do a day by day.

Fantastic photos! Can't wait to see more :goodvibes

Thank you Laura

I'm going to wrap up the Animal Kingdom in this post so we can move along. Christmas is coming and this TR is not progressing the way I intended, lol.

My general overview of AK is that it's a beautiful park, especially if you enjoy taking photos or even just stopping to spend time discovering the incredible details which seem to be intertwined and hidden in everything. What I will say is that my hunch proved correct; I always said that is one park I would NOT want to be in when the heavens opened and we only needed one experience there to see this confirmed as true. There is NOWHERE to run for shelter really, and the little shelters set up are done so that the appeared to have been intended to leak (like full force waterfalls!) in the downpours.

We missed the Finding Nemo show because we got stuck in Yak & Yeti CS - the Looooooongest wait I have ever had in a short line and then there was bedlam in there as nobody could move! I eventually asked a guest to pull my poncho over my tray of food and we made a run for it to the FP for EE. The parade was cancelled and we never got to the show. The upside was that suddenly what had been very harsh light, turned lovely and soft after the rain and we got some Photopass pics taken in spots where every year the highlights have been blown out and colors lacked vibrance :) Most of my non show/character photos I bothered to upload to Flickr were taken after the rain.

Anyway, that's my overview of AK

Gorgeous park and contrary to what is often stated, it is a park where I could easily spend two full days to really enjoy all it has to offer.

One last FOTLK photo and one from the EE queue area, and I'm going to start on MK, if I have a hope of ever finishing this :scared:

We got caught in a torrential downpour that lasted over 30 mins. We grabbed some shelter near to the Ice cream wagon with the wonky wheel just before EE.
Nice photos to finish off. Have they been LR4'd? :rotfl2:

They have but I don't really know what to do with them (not much can be done really) - I shot everything in JPG because I figured why waste space with raw files when I didn't have any editing software, let alone know what to use or how to use it :guilty: A very costly lesson learned! But at least I know for the future :goodvibes
