I am desperately trying to get a T-Rex reservation for our trip. I can either find a 4 pm or 9:30 pm. Nothing in between for the whole week we are there. Any suggestions??
That's irrelevant until you sit down at your table. You will need to keep track yourself, to remind yourself how many credits you have ADR's for, since this one wont show up on your reservations via Disney... but previous posts are correct- just call T-Rex directly. NEVER had a problem getting a reservation when I have called, regardless of time of year.
Whether or not you have DDP makes no difference at all at the time you make a reservation (except for the prepaid reservations). DDP is a method of payment, so it's irrelevant until the time comes to pay.
Unless you are required to pay for the meal at the time you make the reservation, there is no difference between a DDP reservation and a non-DDP reservation.
Thanks to the folks on this board! I too thought there were no reservations at T-Rex simply by looking at the Disney Reservation Page. Called them and the woman answering said she was basically wide open for any date or time I needed! Couldn't be easier. Looking forward to giving this a try!
No. It applies to some of the restaurants operated by third parties (not Disney) at Downtown Disney, some at the Swan and Dolphin that can be reserved through the Swan/Dolphin's website, and possibly the Big River Grill at the Boardwalk (although there is no need to make reservations there 6 months out, they do take "call ahead" on a limited basis within a few days). It does not apply to any restaurant located inside a theme park, whether Disney runs it or not. All theme park restaurants can only be reserved through the Disney system.
PS, those interested in Raglan Road reservations can also book on OpenTable.com if they can't get one through Disney.
