I not to brag but out of no were I started losing weight with out trying and it has to stop I am 5 feet and 115 I know it is not alarming but I want to stop losing before it gets that way.

sounds like you really got it down, but go ahead and get skinner, so if some day you become "big" you could show off your skinny pic :rotfl:

Unexplained weight loss can indicate a medical condition. You need to see a doctor to rule out anything serious.

Wish I had that problem.

With the holidays coming up - I will need a little wiggle room before bathing suit season next year!

I always need to step it up after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years - I get too comfortable when it starts getting cold and dreary out. With all the yummy food and alcohol, I usually have to diet in the spring. Plus, the motivation to work out decreases (it can be cold and yucky - and it is too dark and cold to work out outside and to even drive)...

I bought a pretty treadmill last year - it sits in my living room. The husband uses it. I look at it and feel guilty! :) Things always get better when the sunshine is out and we can be more active.

I think my goal for the holidays is to maintain too!!!

I think at 5 foot 115 is a great weight.

I have a great method of gaining weight, but unfortunately, you're a day late. My plan involves eating all the Twinkies you can find.

Following the rule.

Oh, and my other advice is to eat as much as you can though during the holidays - haha.

Seriously though OP - if you are really worried and losing without trying - would you go to a doctor? You seem to be having a lot of issues lately.

OP - earlier you were asking about ways to lose weight (including various drugs). Are you saying that you didn't try any of these things are still losing weight? Also, you've had a few posts recently about being ill. If you aren't trying to lose weight, but are losing weight and you've had a bunch of unexplained illness, perhaps you should get things checked out by your doctor.

I will try to eat moor food anything for the most part if it is too unhealthy grosses me out. For example I like coke zero over reg coke and I am trying too break my cook zero habit and make it water, but that is example was given so you could see what I am up against

not to get too personal, but how much weight did you lose and how fast? 5' tall and 115 lbs is totally fine, but you sound worried.

Unexplained weight loss is the first sign of serious illness. This includes an ability out of nowhere to control your appetite, when it has always been a struggle before.

I am always scared when I hear about sudden loss of appetite. Please get yourself checked out by a doctor. And pay attention to any other physical changes, even subtle ones.

I was losing a pound a day I went from 150 to 122 and when I was at 122 I was losing a pound a day but I had a sinus infection took care of it so I am hoping that the problem is solved

What?

Then you need to go to the doctor - again. You saw a doctor for the sinus infection - did they not see that your previous weight was 150, then you were at 122? They should have talked to you about it. If you go back, show them that you are at 115 now and that this is an issue and it is not intentional.

Something is up.

There really isn't anything we can help you with here - except encourage you to go to the doctor. You have to just go to get medical help at this point. :-(

That is NOT healthy weight loss. You need to get the heck off of here and see a doctor. Fast and unexplained weight loss can be a sign of a serious problem. Only a doctor would be able to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong.

Get to a doctor, as soon as possible! Seriously, don't take chances with your health!

Seriously...that is not a healthy weight loss. And this is coming from someone in a similar situation.

I'm down to 5ft3 and 108lbs. Last year I was 145lbs. In the course of 9 months I dropped almost 40lbs without trying. I went from a size 8 jean to a size 0.

Tentative diagnoses for me are gastroperisis and possibly pancreatic dysfunction. My pancreatic enzymes are all over the place and my insulin production has plummeted recently but nobody knows why. We are in the process of trying to figure it out.

I am still technically within the "normal" weight range...but barely....but it's not the actual number that concerns my doctors...it's how fast and how much I lost without trying. They were concerned when I was 115lbs. I now drink ensure twice a day to maintain my weight...so far it has been working....but I've been drinking it for 8 months now....

But the 150lbs to 122lbs was on purpose, right? You talked about almost reaching your goal weight (122lbs) before. And about being happy that you were finally there (sounded, at the time, like it took you more than 28 days to do it, but I guess not (if you were losing a pound a day).

Then, you were stuck at 122 or so for a couple of months and now, in the last week, you've lost 7 pounds?

Did anything else change from the you were concerned about being stuck just above your goal and now? Try to think about any other changes (like you being so tired, for example), so that you can discuss them when you go see your doctor (which you really should do).

Good luck.
