Last minute choice to do the Subaru Half Marathon in Jacksonville, FL on Thanksgiving morning. Nice flat race. Will any other Wishers be there?

I'm doing the Hot Chocolate 15k in Columbus and my girlfriend is doing the 5k. There is no way this will be a fast race for me but it looks like a fun event and comes with a running jacket so why not. Besides, I love Columbus.

Good luck everyone else. Jen, is this still your attempt at a BQ?

I am running an 8k Toys for Tots turkey trot in Newport News, VA on Thanksgiving. Should be a nice way to start out the day!

5k tomorrow morning and 10k Turkey Trot on Thursday in upstate NY. The weather looks good for both so far! :thumbsup2

Good luck everyone!! :cheer2::cheer2:

Also planning to run the Chester County Turkey Trot (5K) on Thursday. It'll either be a recovery run or, if I'm really feeling good, I might go for my first sub-30 minute 5K.

Had an awesome race today in nearly ideal conditions in Philly!

My goal was 2:30 and I beat it by a comfortable margin.... 2:28:16!

Yeah!

Next up is the WDW Half in January. I can now move up in my corral at WDW and just have a fun time and take lots of pictures.

:)

I was 12 seconds behind you. Finished my first half marathon ever at 2:28:04 this morning and agree that the conditions for the Philly race were pretty perfect. I just have to keep up the training and be ready for February and the Princess.

Followed up the HM PR on Sunday with a 5K PR in our local turkey trot yesterday. I ran the 5K in 29:16 which was over a 4 minute PR from my last official 5K race (Back in may) and my first 5K run ever under 30 minutes!

What a week for running!

:)

I also won my age group at the 8k turkey trot with a 43.07, but only got a medal....not a tasty pie!
