What characters take part in character dining at the resorts? Is ut worth it?

last time we were at the different resorts we saw homer/bart, scooby/shrek. For us it was not worth it, but if your kids are little they might enjoy it. The restaurant at rpr had a great kids buffet but I did not like my entree and sent it back.

There isn't an extra charge for the character meals at the hotels. As long as you are eating there at the time, they will stop at your table. You can check out the menus at the hotels on the main universal board in the sticky to see if the food there looks like you would like it.

We had a character breakfast at La Bamba -- it was worth it for us since my daughter is the world's biggest Dora fan. Seeing Spongebob, Squidward, Woody Woodpecker and the Minions (from Despicable Me) were just bonuses.

The Dora meet & greet twice daily in the parks lasts about 15 minutes, so be sure to be there early/on time for it. Dora, Diego, Boots & Baby Jaguar come out in the "treehouse" float used for the evening parade, do a couple of songs and then quick meet & greets. If you're fast, you can meet all of them during one session -- but don't dawdle or you'll run out of time.

order off the regular menu and the characters will be around to visit with the dining patrons from about 5:00 to 7:00.

the characters do rotate and are not always the same each season.

if you want to see specific characters during the hotel dinner, call the hotel and ask what dates they will have it.

the hotels rotate on different nights for this.
