The Dolphin can accommodate 5 with a rollaway. Only 4 can stay in a standard room at the Swan.

Can we decline the roll away? Our trip is 18 mos away, and I know a lot can change, but based on how the girls are now, I think they would just prefer to pile up together in one of the full size beds (and I know they would all fit)! It would also give us some more space in the room.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to get a rollaway for the 5th person.

When you book the room you would have to request the roll away to get one. We stayed at the dolphin with our three kids (3,3, and 6 year old) and went without the roll away.

January and our Sixth Dolphin stay can't come SOON ENOUGH!!! We are on our EIGHTH day of no power, no hot water, no heat, courtesy of Hurricane Sandy! :(.

Many people are worse off than we, but after this many days of no power, no Internet, detours, and gas lines, I am very "Grumpy". Lol.

Sitting at Starbucks now, getting warm (went down to the 20's last night) and charging the iPad and trying to get a DISBOARDS fix!

Hope everyone is safe and sound!!!! Is it January yet?!? I can come early, really........

Yowsa! That is way too long, my friend!

Hope that you have power again soon, as well as a great time in January.

Hi there, SSB!!!! We JUST had power restored!!!! Woohoo!!! Of course, tomorrow a nor'easter is heading up the coast, so I guess "we shall see"!!!
Really looking forward to our return in January! Hope the lemonade stand is up and running in the winter, too, so we can say hello! Teehee...... ;)

Here now & disappointed! The main areas and restaurants are great but our room is horrible! We'd openly have a standard room but it is so outdated. The bathroom are small dark & outdated. There is a serious water flow/ pressure problems. I love the location but the rooms are just not worth it! The rooms are similar tone you would find in a two star establishment. I was really hoping to like it but am very glad we are just here for two nights!

Are you at the Dolphin? The bathrooms there have a tub and toilet, with the sink area outside - just like most other WDW resorts. No amount of "updating" will change that layout without a major structural renovation.

Agreed that it is similar layout but much smaller compared to the other deluxe resorts. They will need to do restructuring at some point, it was to cramped for morning routines. I really hoped to like it, as we are SPG members. Yes we are at the dolphin.

I do prefer the bathroom set-up at the Swan. Most rooms there have a sink inside the bathroom as well as outside.

I'm hoping we picked the right weekend for next year. It has been far too long since my last trip!

Just booked a long weekend getaway for the Dolphin for 12/13 - 12/17 :)

This will be our 1st time at the Dolphin so we are looking forward to it :)

In 13 days I should be at getting off work and driving down to the beautiful Disney Swan Resort. I am getting so excited, and I feel very fortunate and grateful to be able to go this year. In 14 days from right now, I should be having a wonderfully long sleep in one of the Disney Swan's Heavenly Beds, too.

Thank you. My annual vacation every year to Walt Disney World with all the Christmas decorations and music and events is always the highlight of my year. So many things to see and to do even with plans made. I don't ride many rides, but I do love the atmosphere and this year it will be all new to me at the Disney Swan Resort. I can't wait. Thank you again. You brought a big smile to my face.

please inform me if this is not the place to post this question......

I thought I could look on ii for a timeshare trade to stay at the swan or dolphin ..... is this true?

I don't know the answer to your question. I am assuming that you are talking about Interval International? I have never seen the Swan or Dolphin on the II website. Have you seen it listed on II before?
