By issue with noise from pool decks on deck 8? Going to Alaska so imagine pool noise will be less of an issue than on some cruises

We stayed on the starboard side delux on 8 & had zero issues. Super location as far as I was concerned.

We did hear some noise from the deck overhead, but nothing worth worrying about.

We were mid ship deck 8 on MR cruise last Jan and once in a while we would here carts when we sat on the balcony but we turn on the white noise on iPad/iPhone and didn't here a thing at night.

Unless you are very sound sensitive don't worry enjoy your cruise.

We've stayed in 8040 and 8042. Pirate night there was some noise and a few times you could hear chairs being dragged across the floor above. Nothing too serious, white noise machine helped. We are booked in 8044 for our cruise in 104 days!

By the way the room we were in was 8544, and we are booked again for the Feb 23 Magic out of Galveston in the 4a category also we loved the location and wouldn't change.

We stayed in 8546 on the pixar cruise and also loved the location. We never heard any noise.

8576 is awful!! it was sooo noisy from chairs at the Mickey pool and the ice cream station.

8060 was quiet!!

We were just on the Magic and we had a lot of noise in 8044. Kids running on deck 9 was the cause for most of it. Chairs moving and such was not as much of a concern but it was there. There will probably be less running around the pool for you in Alaska but we will not be staying directly under the pool deck again.

We stayed in 8546 on the pixar cruise and also loved the location. We never heard any noise.

I'm so relieved to hear that. We're booked in 8546 for the Oct 26, 2013 sailing to the Bahamas. I read one of the room reviews on that one in particular and was considering asking to change. However, your post reassured me it will be fine. Thanks for sharing!

We have stayed in 8552 on the Wonder 3 times and love the location. But you did get quite a bit of noise. Mostly it was kids running on the deck above but occasionally it would be chairs moved around. I mostly noticed it when I was out on the verandah.

But the location far outweighed the noise for us so I don't think it was too bad. It must not have been since we keep booking the same room

We were in 8552 on the Magic for the 10-day Med cruise in 2010. I can't say that I noticed any noise but we were rarely in the cabin during the day because of port activities. By evening I was dead tired so I can't say that I heard much. Liked the location and the space.
