coronado springs

Hi: DH, DD, DS, and I stayed there December 2010. Resort and rooms were nice. Food court was a little weird. It is a QS on dining plan. Even though we stood in line to order/receive our food there were waiters/waitresses there and we felt that we had to tip them. They were basically just cleaning around. This is the only Disney resort that I have seen do this. Can't say that this is our favorite moderate resort. We much prefer PORS if we are staying moderate.

This is weird. I have never heard of something like this in Disney.

I have never stayed at CS - but have heard that it has the best mod resort slide. i have also heard its very big!

We had the best bus service at CSR. One thing & it is very small but kinda a fyi, we shipped some stuff home We supplied the box & pre done UPS label they would not take it at the front desk(like other WDW resorts) we had to take it to the convention center & they wanted to charge me like $6 & said no thanks, we were headed to Ohana for dinner gave it to the front desk there no charge.

There was some new rule implemented about shipping and the convention resorts - CSR, CR, BW, GF, and YC. Maybe since these resorts ahve a lot of people sending packages fro conventions, it got to be too much for the desk staff to handle.

The wait staff brings drinks and flatware to your table. I tip when wait staff helps me.
CSR is large but not nearly as large as CBR. If you stay at POFQ or POR and walk to use the facilities avalable to both, that's a large area as well. The nice thing is there are 5 bus stops at CSR. There are no long walks to the rooms.

We are considering CSR or POR for our next stay too. We've stayed at POFQ (loved) and CBR (didn't like) so far and want to try the other mods. Just trying to decide which to try next.

We stayed at CSR resort from 10/18-10/22. We are actually DVC members, but were just doing a short stay to do Food and Wine, and really just wanted to try a new resort!

All in all, we liked CSR a lot. Our room was beautiful..we were in Casitas 4, so it was pretty close to the main bldg., and the first bus stop. It was a bit of a walk to get to the Dig Site pool, but nothing awful. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. We did see a convention, and though we noticed the people walking around a lot, they weren't taking up seats on the busses, so we didn't care! Bus service was fantastic.

We liked the buffet, but really missed having a food court. We used to stay at POR before DVC, and the food court there was one of the things we hated to have to give up!!!! Next fall for our F&W trip, we'll try CBR, simply because we haven't stayed there yet, and I know they have a food court.

The real question is "would you stay here again?" I think I would, but would probably prefer POR to this resort.

But really, so long as I'm at Disney, I'm happy!!!
