Photo report - FLE passholder preview - Dinner at BoG :)

Hi DIS folks I didn't have time to prepare a trip report, this past weekend I just took a really quick trip down to see the new FLE. I thought I'd share some pictures for anyone who would like to see! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Walking in to FLE:

First I did the GoG self guided tour, which took me through the quick service ordering line:

After that tour we walked down to Gaston's:

Then I turned around and he was standing right behind me!

Then I went inside to order a brew

It actually tasted pretty good!

Next I rode the new LM ride:

By the time I came out of the ride the sun was starting to set....

Once the wall comes down this will be a pretty sight:

Then I went into the shop in Belle's village:

Next I went to the Enchanted Tales with Belle:

Inside it was very dark, again my camera is not good, sorry

Then inside the first room:

In the next room they give out the "play parts" and the CM asks at the end if anyone wants a part who didn't get one... If you want to meet Belle and have your pic taken with her you need a play part. Otherwise you have no interaction with her!

Next is the Library... this is where you meet Lumiere and Belle

Then I went back and rode LM again:

Now it is dark and I'm just killing time until my BoG dinner reservation...

One if the highlights of the night was watching Wishes over Beast's castle You have to swivel your head around if you want to catch the fireworks that shoot off over by the castle, but if you don't mind only seeing the high fireworks I think this is a great spot!

We were the last dinner reservation of the day (9:20 PM) and were we seated in the West Wing, which I highly recommend for adults and older kids! It's very dark and there is thunder and lightning! You can see the magic rose and the changing portrait in here. But be aware it is VERY dark, we could barely read the menu.

I really enjoyed our meal at BoG and loved the new FLE! I can't wait until Snow White is done so we get the full experience.

I think as far as single table service restaurants go it is very good! We liked the food better than CRT and Tony's, so I think it will be a very successful restaurant. We all really enjoyed everything we ordered, the entrees seemed very fresh, cooked properly, nice looking, and the tableside dessert service was great! I had the triple chocolate cupcake and it was yummmm!

I'm gonna sum up my thoughts about your pics in one word~

Suggestions, yes!

Expect a VERY LONG WAIT for Belle... they only take a small number of people at a time. When we lined up it looked like maybe 50 people ahead of us tops, we weren't even halfway up the queue, and it took forever. I'd say hit this attraction FIRST above all else. If the line is backed up to the entrance I'd realistically say that's well over an hour. Also make sure you have a play part assigned to you in the second room or you won't have a photo with Belle. After the CM passed out parts she said "does anyone else want a part that didn't get one??" That is your cue to ask! Once inside the library you will meet Belle and have a photo, they pass out a photopass to everyone at the exit. MAKE SURE you get a photopass from the exit person so you can see your pictures and order them!

Mermaid has an interactive queue so the time went by fast, plus the ride moves quickly so the line moves quickly. People were actually going so slow that the line wasn't moving do to the interactive parts. By the time we got past that there was literally nobody waiting inside. We walked right on. I wonder if they will do something to keep the people moving?? Possibly a CM inside the line moving guests along. We didn't do the meet&greet with Ariel so I'm not sure about that part.

Be Our Guest is AMAZING! If you are adults or have older children I would HIGHLY recommend the West Wing. It was by far the best area. If you have small kids or anyone afraid of the dark I'd go for the music box room. The main grand ballroom is nice but it is noisy and full of people. I would not want to eat dinner in there if I could avoid it. Unless it is way waaaayyy down at the end of the room next to the windows. That would be a good place because the snowfall is so beautiful out the windows.

Gaston's tavern, definitely try the brew! I wasn't expecting it to be good and it was YUMMMMMY!

Also I thought the view of Wishes from the BoG entrance was a great spot! It was a totally different experience than watching from Main St. The only down side is that the castle fireworks are behind you so your head is on a swivel.

I can't wait to get back there!!!!! January can't come soon enough!!!

I can't wait to see it all. I have got an ADR for BOG for our May trip and may have to find time for quick service too.

Not looking forward to the queue for Enchanted tales with Belle. Will definately be using your tip and get there first thing.
