Mission Impossible: Will he even like Disney this time? Our June 2012 TR

After leaving World Showcase, we ate at Electric Umbrella. The food seemed abnormally good since we were indeed starving. :upsidedow

Then it was onto Club Cool for the men to taste the different cokes.

Poor DH hated ALL of them!!! He does not like the sweet taste of regular coke so every single thing he tasted made him do this.....

DSCN7411.jpg

My M-I-L loved these chandeliers in the Club Cool.

DSCN7424.jpg

If you remember back to a LONG LONG time ago now, earlier on this day we skipped Nemo's ride because we were running out of time so we head there first to make sure we don't leave anything out.

DSCN7425.jpg

Mine! MINE! MINE!!

One cool thing during the ride we were able to see the dolphins swimming fast and acting up behind the projections at the end of the ride. At one point, we even stopped in that room because the ride was having issues or something and were able to watch them a while longer.

This last photo was taken at 8:42 p.m. We decided not to head over to watch the fireworks but instead to ride some more rides. What was the one ride we could not leave Epcot without doing? Guesses???

WHAT?!?!? Yes our family LOVES Spaceship Earth. I'm not quite sure what it is that we like but we really enjoy that ride. ::yes::

DSCN7447.jpg

Spaceship Earth is gorgeous at sunset.

DS6 and I laughed so hard at our picture from the ride because it chopped parts out of our heads!

DSCN7485.jpg

After the ride, I decided to take the kids to meet the characters while DH, M-I-L, and F-I-L rode Soarin' one last time before leaving.

DSCN7503.jpg

Donald was hilarious!! We had bought cheap $1 Disney pens at a local store to use for autographs because I knew the characters needed bigger pens to write with. However, our pens were HUGE! He acted like it weighed a ton and was constantly collapsing with it onto the ground. You will be able to see that better when I share our Photopass photos from this day!

We finished with the characters with no sign of the others so we waited.

DSCN7512.jpg

And waited......
DSCN7524.jpg

....and waited.....
DSCN7528.jpg

......impatiently waiting......UNTIL finally they come out!!

On the way out we stopped in the Lost and Found office to retrieve DH's hat which he had left on Figment's ride and we were on our way "home"....

DSCN7529.jpg

Home and to bed right???

Of course not! That would make sense but it seemed that on this trip we had LOTS of midnight snacks.

DSCN7533.jpg

DSCN7534.jpg

Beignets and coke at midnight?? Sure why not...we are on vacation! :joker:

Next day - Magic Kingdom!!! Did we stay up too late for DS6? Will we have another meltdown? Stay tuned......

Here are our photopass pics from our Epcot Day -

This should have been a sign of things to come!! Look at DS6 in that stroller!!

36107970019.jpg

My hair was SOOOOO wild this week. I swear it doesn't look like this normally!

36107970027.jpg

36107970031.jpg

He loved Princess Aurora!

36107970035.jpg

36107970037.jpg

He still talks about her to this day.

36107970043.jpg

SO it doesn't look like we really believe that there are balloons on Poppa! lol....we weren't really good at these pics.

36107970050.jpg

DS10 LOVES Mickey!

Even Pluto thought so!

Minnie loved my necklace. It was made to resemble her - it was a bottlecap with red and white polka dots inside with the initial B for my name.

36107970110.jpg

Poor Donald.....

36107970116.jpg

I think we broke his back.

All the character pictures came out great too. Your boys seemed to both really enjoy that interaction. I'm with your DH... yuck to those cola's
We eat late alot on WDW vacations. It is part of the experience, IMO.

Thanks! We did get great PhotoPass pics. I have a LOT more than what I put up here but these are the better ones or the more expressive ones that I like.

:welcome: Thanks for joining us!

I love Epcot for its details. It's so easy to photograph because there is so much to see!

Ahhh....my first graders....yep mid-October and they are still cute! Well that could be only because I'm on a day off but I still love them! :rotfl:

Yep if you look past my horrible hair that day in the pic where everyone is closing their eyes, DH and I were told to kiss. My boys were uber grossed out! :scared1:

I did like some of the cola flavors but he hates ginger ale and could taste it in most of them. He also doesn't like sweet stuff and they are certainly sweet!

Update coming up! I'm on a roll lately!

After our late night of beignets and coke, we decided to sleep in on this morning because there is honestly no "must have FP immediately" ride for us at Magic Kingdom. We woke up later and walked around the resort enjoying the beauty for a while. I seem to remember some confusion this morning that made us even later but I don't remember what it is right now. I think Poppa and Nannia left a mug in their room that they wanted to fill up at breakfast and then they couldn't find us because we were walking around taking pictures.

Here are some pics from our walk around the resort.....

DSCN7540.jpg

DSCN7543.jpg

My camera kept getting the fuzzy shots due to the humidity I think. Frustrating but memories all the same.....

DSCN7544.jpg

Oh no! Is this a sign of things to come? :rolleyes1

So we caught up with Nannia and Poppa, we had breakfast, and then we took time in the gift shop to just look around.

While in the gift shop, a CM noticed that my DS10 was wearing his birthday button and asked if he had received his phone call from Mickey yet. I said no and this is what happened next....

DSCN7546.jpg

He loved it!

DSCN7549.jpg

Finally....we were on our way to MK. It was already 11 when we got there and the crowds were well 11 a.m. crowds. It seemed like everyone had decided to sleep in on that day. Unfortunately this did not make Poppa happy because on their last trip there were no crowds ever no matter what time they went. (They went in September.) :confused3 I told him that we could still ride all that we wanted as long as we FP-ed the rides.

DSCN7551.jpg

Crowd and castle picture

After entering Magic Kingdom, we stopped at the Fire Station to get our Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom card packs. The boys were so excited about playing! :yay:

DSCN7552.jpg

DSCN7553.jpg

Love this view of the castle

DSCN7554.jpg

The fountain

First up - yeah I'm not really sure where we were headed. :rolleyes1 We stopped by Peter Pan to pick up FPs because that is one of my favorites at MK and the line is forever long. Who am I kidding....they are all my favorites at MK.

DSCN7555.jpg

Random people shot....there were people EVERYWHERE.....

DSCN7557.jpg

Score! FPs for Peter Pan. I  Peter Pan.

We were going to ride the Liberty Riverboat since it was on our list of new things to do but it was ........

DSCN7556.jpg

Nannia and Poppa had enjoyed the Hall of Presidents when they came the last time and it was air conditioned which meant a lot of this VERY hot day so we decided to give it a try!

DSCN7559.jpg

I enjoyed it too. DH was kinda meh about it. The boys were so ready to play SOTMK that they could not sit still or even watch the show.

After the show we find their first "portals" for SOTMK and let them each play one round and only one round. Nannia and Poppa were not really excited that we had gone all the way to Disney to play a video game. :lmao:

DSCN7562.jpg

DSCN7563.jpg

DS10 was with me so I have pics of him playing while DS6 was with DH and Nannia.

After they finished their one round, we decided to check out Tom Sawyer Island.
CONTINUED IN NEXT POST.................

It was one more thing on our never done before list. I was hoping to find a paintbrush even though I didn't think they still did those and Nannia was looking for the fort where the kids could run and play.

DSCN7564.jpg

DSCN7565.jpg

DSCN7566.jpg

If you look closely behind the bars of the stairs, there is a Photopass photographer who told a family near us that he was taking pictures for that evening "Magic, Memories, and you" show. He never took any pictures of my kids. Shoulda had a girl...... :lmao: Sorry, that just seemed to be the only people who made it on the castle.

We walked out to the bridge only to realize that the fort was closed for refurbishment. :headache: Ahh well, I would there's always next time but the island is not something we will do again for a while. I had a hard time with the inclines and the slippery caves with my bummed knee. I think I've had my fair share of fun out there for a while!

DSCN7568.jpg

On our way back over.....giving an idea of the people.....

As we crossed over, we hear, "MOM I'm hungry!!". "Yeah Mom, I'm hungry too!" Wait, didn't we JUST feed these guys breakfast!??!?! :scared1:

So at 1:30 after a 10:30 a.m. breakfast, we stop at Pecos Bill's for lunch. :scared1: People like I've never seen people...... people.....people EVERYWHERE. The lines weren't too bad because there are so many of them but there was NO WHERE to sit. :scared:

Now at Pecos Bill's they do a fine thing where they only let you sit if you have a tray (at least while we were there) so it was nice that everyone had to have a tray to sit down but then they don't make you get up when your done of course so you have people avoiding the heat by sitting at tables visiting. After a long time of searching and getting separated quite a few times, we found a table big enough for most of us and borrowed chairs from all over to put six people at a 4 person table.

Pic of my lunch......

DSCN7570.jpg

Since we were not dining plan and I don't eat everything provided in the big meals at Disney, most often I shared with at least one child. This is why I only have half a burger.

I think my in-laws thought I was nuts for always taking photos of food. :confused3 It's a Dis-thing.....

Bellies full, and table given to sweet family that was eating standing up, we emerge....

DSCN7571.jpg

Crowds seem lighter somehow.....DH and I run for a FP for Splash while the others enjoy another round of SOTMK.

After getting our FP for Splash, we go over to Peter Pan to use our FP from this morning. I'm not really a fan of the new FP system because it makes for lots of running back and forth in the parks. We would have normally waited until we were back on that side to use this FP but instead we now make a trip over there just for one ride.

DSCN7572.jpg

Ahhh :scared1: stroller hell, how I have missed you.....NOT!!

DSCN7573.jpg

At this point Nannia and Poppa want to go on the Liberty Riverboat but I really want to take DH on Haunted Mansion since he did not get to go with us the first night. We agree to split up since they don't want to see it again and they will take the kids with them.

Off we go....the wait wasn't bad and we decided to take the shortcut since we had played in the graveyard a couple of nights before. We are quickly in the building and onto our ride. DH really enjoyed it once he could see the details without comforting a scared child. (When we rode it on our first trip, both boys were terrified.)

Once we got off the ride, we decided to sit in the shade of the Riverboat exit to wait for them.

I took some pics while we waited....

DSCN7575.jpg

DSCN7576.jpg

Check out the line to Haunted Mansion.....whew.....

CONTINUED IN NEXT POST......(too many pics)

Here they come!

DSCN7578.jpg

DSCN7582.jpg

DSCN7583.jpg

DSCN7586.jpg

Finally they see us. Then they get off and we realize that we are not at the exit. Where did they go?? They were so close and yet so far. :rolleyes1

They come up to meet us and we all enjoy the parade that is passing by...

DSCN7588.jpg

DSCN7592.jpg

After the parade, we decide to go on Splash Mountain. DS10 decides right away that he can not go on it because the drop is too big so Nannia stays with him and they go to see Country Bear Jamboree (another new thing to cross off).

The rest of us head to Splash Mountain. We give our FP to the lady and climb up to the top. As we get out of the mountain and see the logs, DS6 goes nuts, ballistic, freak out crazy.....why? "BECAUSE I DON"T WANT TO RIDE THIS.....I DON'T WANT TO FALL THAT FAR!!!!!"

Geez, wish I had known that before I gave those FP to get in, son....... :headache:

So he and I cross over and head out. On the way down a CM stops and asks me what's wrong with DS6 (because he's still slightly losing it). I tell her that he was afraid of the ride so we got off but that it frustrated me because we used our FP's to get on and lost them when he chose not to ride.

She asks how many are in our party and pulls out these!!!

DSCN7593.jpg

I never expected anything from our conversation. I was basically just visiting to pass the time until DH and Poppa finished the ride but :woohoo: it was great to receive another FP and for anything!! Wonder what we can use them on?

After leaving Splash Mountain, we caught the Pirate tutorial by Jack Sparrow and Goofy. We were a little late and were not picked to be in the show but enjoyed it all the same. While they watched the show, I ran ahead and grabbed FPs for Jungle Cruise.

Another first to cross off our list - watching Tiki Room show. Last we went to Disney was right after the fire when the The Tiki Room was closed.

"In the tiki tiki tiki tiki room in the tiki tiki tiki tiki room...." Whew the music is catchy. Our review - it was nice to get out of the heat but is not something that we feel the need to do every time. My boys enjoyed it.

The tiki room lights and my camera did not get along. Therefore no cool pics... :sad2:

After the Tiki Room it was time for our FP's to Jungle Cruise! (and my best memory of the entire trip!)

DS6 was chosen as our boat captain!! I didn't know that this was possible! Such a wonderful experience for him!!

Back to SOTMK....this took so much of our time on this trip and I must say that I just wasn't impressed with it.

DSCN7626.jpg

Back to the other side of the park to ride some more....stopping at IASW and parking in stroller hell......

DSCN7628.jpg

I've already told DS6 that we will slow down when/if we go back but that I refuse to take the stroller again.

HIDDEN MICKEY SPOILER ALERT -

With our hidden Mickey book out we spotted all of them in IASW. Here's one...

Next up, People Mover...

After People Mover, we crossed off another first on our list, Carousel of Progress. I expected it to be boring and blah based on the reviews it receives but my kids LOVED it!!!

DSCN7681.jpg

"There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow at the end of every day!"

DSCN7682.jpg

DSCN7689.jpg

Working our way towards dinner at TOmorrowland Terrace.....

A stop at Buzz Lightyear first....
DSCN7689.jpg

Have to help save the world from Zerg...

DSCN7692.jpg

Notice the black point screen? Yep that was mine. I can definitely say that Buzz needs some work. We rode it 5 times at least on this trip and all 5 times something was glitched or broken.

DINNER!!! Yay! Dinner was insane. It had started to rain so people were crowding in to stay dry. The dessert party was beginning to line up and that made only one dining area. We ate at a 2 person table with 6 people. Seems like a theme this trip..... Once we finished eating, it was a full fledged STORM with lightning all over the park and wind blowing the rain sideways.

YUCK! (Remember I missed Wishes on the first night. We had decided to wait and watch it when Tink would fly on a rain-free night. THIS is supposed to be that rain-free night.) Will we see Wishes at all?

We decide to make a break for Laugh Floor and I resolve myself to the fact that I will not see Tink fly OR wishes on this trip. Heartbroken, I follow the crowd and amidst strikes of lightning we make it here.....

DSCN7699.jpg

We submitted another joke for the show and our joke was picked AGAIN!!! My kids officially love Laugh Floor. The show before us never completely exited the theater because of the weather so it was really full for the second show. After our show was over, we decide to continue through the people to see if it was still raining and it was but it had slacked off a little bit.

At 10:01 p.m. with all hopes of seeing Wishes gone, the boys made a break for the bathroom and we watched these poor people....
DSCN7700.jpg

....who were stuck on PeopleMover. They stayed up there 30+ minutes while we watched. No clue how long they were there before we started watching. CMs would walk the track constantly with flashlights looking for something. I'm so glad we weren't stuck on that during the storm. Eventually the people walked off the ride along the track.

The rain slacked off but the damage was done. MK was flooded in spots. We walked through ankle deep water in places to get towards the exit when they come over the speakers and announce, "Tonight's showing of Wishes will be delayed but we will present it when it is safe to do so."

WHAT!?!?!? You mean I get Wishes after all?!?!??! Thank you pixiedust:!!

DSCN7706.jpg

People waiting...

Wishes was delayed....and then it was delayed......and after that it was delayed......and it was delayed......then it was delayed......Every 5 minutes they would announce that Wishes was delayed, which made it seem all the longer. The rain started up again and DS10 began to panic so he and I went to shop for a while with the understanding that we may miss Wishes. We shopped through all of the stores on the Casey's side of Main Street and finished before Wishes finally started at 11:20 p.m.

It was beautiful. It was magical. Tink didn't fly.....I didn't care! I LOVED every minute of it and decided in my heart that on the next trip (if there ever was a next trip) I would watch Wishes every single time I was MK just in case the weather didn't cooperate the next time. Lesson learned but will it ever be used??

We left with almost everyone else right after the fireworks and were some of the first ones back to the bus area but it was REALLY crazy. Word was that some of the underpasses at Disney had flooded during the storm and buses stopped running for a little while through those areas. Great..... :sad2:

So finally at almost 1 a.m. we walked into our hotel rooms to these.....

DSCN7710.jpg

DSCN7713.jpg

We took baths as fast as we could and collapsed into bed thankful that the next day was our rest day!!! There was no way I would make rope drop ANYWHERE after going to bed at 2 a.m.

What would we do on our rest day? Would we stay around Disney or would we venture out to do something else where?

Since it was our rest day and since we had a crazy late night the evening before, we slept in on this morning. DS10 and I got up before most of the others and walked around the resort a bit.

DSCN7716.jpg

DSCN7717.jpg

DSCN7722.jpg

Port Orleans French Quarter was a beautiful resort and I think it's a great place for grown-ups but our kids did not enjoy it nearly as much as they liked Caribbean Beach. DH even said that it didn't "feel like Disney".

Once everyone was awake and ready to go, we decided to take a water taxi over to DTD. It was almost lunchtime and I was hoping for Wolfgang Puck Express.

YAY!! We are there!

Of course, we took pictures everywhere but I'll spare you most of them. Here are just a few of the ones we took while we shopped before lunch.

I want this for Christmas!
DSCN7778.jpg

By this time we were hungry so we began to look for a place to eat. No one could choose and no one seemed to want WPE with me! I was sad!!! SO we walked over to the Earl of Sandwich but DH decided that it would not work for him so where did we go? WPE!!!! :cheer2:

I was so excited. This time, I chose a rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and it was delicious. WPE is by far my favorite restaurant at Disney!!

After lunch we began to look around the rest of DTD. We went on a hunt for Hidden Mickeys and found LOTS of them around the area. Here are just a few.....

Splitsville under construction.....

DSCN7837.jpg

DSCN7839.jpg

This means that we are at the end of the walkway and it's time to "go home".

So we board a boat to go back to the Marketplace and get off/get on another boat to take us home.
DSCN7840.jpg

DSCN7859.jpg

We were curious which DVC resort this was....I think now from looking back it is either OKW or SSR. The wooden "cabins" appear to be out there so far from everything else.

Upon arriving back at our room we found this.....

DSCN7870.jpg

We cleaned up and hired a taxi to go out to dinner. We had decided that even with the taxi fare it would be cheaper than staying on site to eat. We had a name brand steakhouse fairly close to Disney and near the outlet mall that I wanted to go to. We ate there and asked our waiter how far the outlet mall was from the restaurant and if we should call for another cab. His answer, "Oh almost 1/2 a mile. Not far at all. You could easily walk it if you've been walking Disney."

O.k. so we started our walk to the mall and after what seemed like HOURS or DAYS, we finally see....

DSCN7872.jpg

We shopped for the few things we needed (DS6 needed new shoes and he took the old ones on the trip without me knowing and his feet were hurting. I wanted to stop by the Disney store.) and we went "home" to sleep and prepare for the "Running of the Bulls".

DSCN7876.jpg

Poor baby is exhausted!!!!

Next up - Hollywood Studios and the mad dash to Toy Story.....

love the towel animals!

So, your dh was pin trading huh? hmm perhaps...

How did you like the outlets?

We figured out how much we would save eating off property would save us and figured renting a car pretty much pays for itself by eating off site.

DVC resort you saw... SSR. the "cabins" are "treehouses" which are very popular. Although, I have no interest. We love SSR and OKW. (staying SSR for our first few nights in a couple weeks).

WPE sounds yummy. I think we may hit there once this trip also.

I keep enjoying your TR. Thanks for taking the time to update. I know you have a busy schedule!

LOL....don't get your hopes up yet. DH pin traded on the first visit. He also vinylmation trades and enjoys that too.

We enjoyed the outlet. I went back to them later in the summer when I was in Orlando for work and enjoyed it again. We don't have a Disney store (outlet or otherwise) around our house and have to drive at least 3 hours to see one so any Disney store excites me!

Eating off property was definitely cheaper. However if you are in the parks it's hard to leave it all behind to go somewheres to eat.

Oooh yes I LOVE LOVE LOVE WPE. You really should try it.

Well the vacation is almost over and DH still isn't sold on the idea of Disney yet but that's o.k. with me. I'm making all the memories I can with the idea that if we never come back, at least we have seen it all. ::yes::

It wasn't long before our trip that they started enforcing Fastpass return times. I felt that this could affect us in two ways.....

1.) It would make us walk more in MK to get back to a ride for the allotted time instead of just going when we are over in that land.

2.) It could potentially ruin a HS day if you have the coveted Toy Story FP at the same time as something else.

Will it ruin our day?

That leads us to our Hollywood Studios day. This park is hard for us because you HAVE to ride Toy Story and my boys feel that they HAVE to fight Darth Vader :-)offtopic: Just heard that Disney is buying Lucasfilms and is making a Star Wars VII...... interesting.....). Trying to do both of these means that we have to be at HS WAY before rope drop and we have to run in different directions. So we head to HS and get in line for the turnstalls to open.

Around 8:30 a.m. we see .......

It was later than I really wanted to get there but it's hard to get six people to MOVE in the morning!!! lol....well it's hard to get DS6 to move in the morning. So we make our game plan that the ladies and the boys will run (I totally mean walk) to the sign ups for Jedi Training and the men will leisurely stroll (read .....:moped:......) over to Toy Story Mania.

The line in front of us......

and the line behind us......

I'd hate to be those poor people.

So we hype ourselves up and get ready to GOOOOOO...... :hyper::bitelip::hyper:

They open the gates and there is no rope to stop at so it is a free for all mad dash to our destinations. We walk normally ::yes:: in a super fast sort of way to sign the boys up for Jedi Training.

Luckily I had overheard that the signups were now taking place in the air conditioned ABC theater. A/C is wonderful even at 9 a.m.!!!

So what does DS 6 do when we arrive in line?

Yes lay down....geez....he was so tired on this trip. He was always laying down or sitting on the cement/in his stroller.

That picture was taken at 9:13 a.m. and by 9:20 a.m. we were answering "How old are you?" "Are you afraid of Darth Vader?" "Could you fight him on stage?" With all the correct answers given we received our passes for the 10:20 a.m. show. YAY for a morning show where it's cool!!!!

We left ABC sound studio and ventured over towards Toy Story to meet the guys. Along the way we receive a text from the guys to say that they have the Toy Story FPs and are going to ride TOT. I text back "what time?" meaning "what time are the fPs for?" and receive a text saying "now". :rolleyes1

Great communication skills we have......

While waiting on the guys we go to cross something off our "never done before" list and go into One Man's Dream. I did not realize that there was a movie in this one. We walked and looked at the items....really neat stuff in there....

While in One Man's Dream, I receive a text letting me know that our Toy Story FPs are for 10:10-11:10 a.m. :scared1:

I freak out. We obviously can't do both since the kids have to be at Jedi Training 30 minutes before their show and the show lasts 20-30 minutes. I panic....I get mad.........frustrated.....angry at the new rules.

Nannia says something like well we will just have to choose, which seems like such a normal statement except she's talking about giving up Toy Story FPs. She then says that we could always just wait in the line for TS. That's not exactly an option either. :scared1:

So I brave the ridiculous TSM FP crowds to go back to the FP machine the back way in order to talk to a CM. There has to be something they can do right??

First lady has no idea what to do with me and refers me to a guy next to her who says that they probably won't be able to do anything. I start to tear up.....it's stupid I know but this isn't what I had planned. I ask him again to please see if there is some way that they can honor both. He calls someone on his radio and proceeds to take all SIX of my FPs and WALK AWAY. :scared1:

I resisted the urge to chase him down and take them back since he never left my sight although there were LOTS of people in between us. He came back and said that he had spoken with a manager and she said that the CM at the FP entrance would know to honor these even if we were a little late. Nothing was marked on the FPs at all. I asked him if he was sure. He said that he didn't really know but he thought they would. Hopeful we move on.....but will we really be able to ride TSM? Will they honor our FPs?

Since we were a little early for our Jedi Training line up, we decided to catch Great Movie Ride on the way over. We had just learned about the cowboy scene and were hoping to be able to ride that one but only the gangster scene was running. The CM did say that the cowboy scene would be running later in the day.

Pics from the ride....

This was a first for Nannia and Poppa. They enjoyed the ride and we were on our way to Jedi Training.

Thanks for reading along!

Your DS being so tired is too cute. WDW can be exhausting, then if he is going through a growth spurt...look out.
psst..... don't let your dh EVER think you have seen it all. ALWAYS there is something new you must go back to experience. :lmao:

Awesome times for Jedi training (we have yet to do this. I think DD(9) would love it. come to think of it, I think DH & DDBF would love it too, maybe we need to do the sprint at rope drop ourselves) I hope you they truly do honor your TSM FP. There should be some type of override for us over planners. :bitelip:

How did you like "One Mans Dream"? I love it. We were a bit surprised at the movie also. But, I really enjoyed it. Now sometimes we skip it, sometimes we do it.

LOL....glad you think he's cute. :sad2: We thought HE was exhausting!! Always have to pick him up and get him going. You could have sworn I was trying to make him go to school!!! :rolleyes1

DD9 would surely love it. I really want to be able to do it again before DS10 turns 12 as that is the cut off age. (You have to be 4-12.) It's just to convince DH to go......

I liked One Man's Dream but at this point in our trip we have not seen the movie because of the craziness with our FPs and Jedi Training. We will get back there eventually and I really liked it. I knew a lot of it from reading a book on him before. DH found it fascinating.

Can't wait to share the rest of our day later!

Ooh I hope the fastpasses work out for you!
I love One Man's Dream, I always do it every trip. I feel like I'm honoring the man who started it all!

:rotfl2: I know sometimes they just don't catch on to what wonderful parents we are giving them the world! :goodvibes
Hopefully you will be able to get back there before your older son is too old.
We are big readers of Walt's life also. Yet, somehow the movie, moved us. Things we had forgotten.
Looking forward to the next update.

Oh I hope that u get to do Jedi academy and tsm...

Your guys r a good age for it.....

Tom Sawyers island lots of fun... Having a daughter first and then a son I do think Disney gives the girls and the whole princess the lion's share of attention sometimes... I'd love to see a boys equivalent to a princess breakfast ie toy story or something pirates for example

Your photos continue to be great
