Hey, happy campers!
I've been poking around the boards trying to find a definitive answer and while I'm sure it's here, I'm going to, as they say, rely on the kindness of strangers to give me the most up-to-date info possible to help me in making a decision.
I'm considering renting a cart, proably from Kenny, for my trip in early January. My sister and I are staying in a FW Cabin, and my parents will be staying in their RV in one of the loops. (Actually, they always try to get spot 1410. Apparently, it's their "lucky" spot. And no, I don't particularly want to know what makes it lucky... they are, after all, my parents!)
Anyhoo...
My main purpose in getting a cart would be so that on any given day, we could swing over, pick up my folks, drive to whichever end of the campground we needed to catch a boat/bus/plane/train/automobile from to head to our day's given park, and then leave it there for the day... pick it up when we come back, drive my parents to their spot, scoot on over to ours and park for the night.
I assume that's possible.
Then, my stupid brain started thinking, "Well, gee, you probably can't leave it parked there all day. If everyone did that, there'd be no place for people to park." And while there will always be people who do things they aren't supposed to do (like park all day where they aren't supposed to), I try and be a by-the-books guy as much as possible.
So... cart... or no cart?
As always, y'all rock!
