So how many of us Canadians are booked on the fantasy for March break and where are you from? Anyone doing a pre or post stay at WDW? :thumbsup2

We will be on the Fantasty.:dance3:

I think my oldest daughters plans are non stop Aqua Duck.

We are leaving Wed from Pearson so hopefully we will avoid the mad rush, doing Harry Potter this year.

Eastern is one of my Favorite itineraries, and really excited about San Juan.

We will be on the March 9th Fantasy! Going to Old Key West two days pre-cruise to hopefully beat the travel rush :thumbsup2

We will be on fantasy for March 9 sailing. Won't be able get come down until Friday morning. Have not decided if driving directly to Cocoa beach or stay in WDW yet.

Yes I think I may even be up for a ride on the aqua duck, looks like alot of fun! We fly down on thursday morning and hopefully we avoid the mad rush as well, we are flying out of Buffalo so it shouldnt be to bad I hope! Did HP last year and to be honest we were dissapointed with it ,but it is still worth seeing I think I was expecting a little to much ,just thought there would be more to do in that area, but what they do have is really very well done! I too am so excited to visit San Juan, wish disney would change some of the ports more often as it gets a little boring seeing the same places in the caribbean, well heres hoping !:thumbsup2

Not the Fantasy but the Dream.

Happy cruising!:woohoo:

We almost switched our reservation at one point to go on the dream instead, but ended up keeping our reservation on the dream as dh thinks the 4 night would feel to rushed. You will have to let me know what you thought about the shorter cruise once you get back as I think it would be fine doing a 4 night, it sure would open up more possible cruises for us as you can find some good deals I have seen!:thumbsup2

Cant wait to be sailing in march! Perhaps we will all get the chance to meet!:goodvibes

We have talked before:)
Flying out of Buffalo Friday 11:30am as DH works in TO "till 7:30am This is my main stressor, hoping he gets home early and the weather is OK, and we make the flight:rolleyes1 He is going to try to get off an hour early.
We booked a Boardwalk view at BWV(home resort) for the Friday night.
Will do early dinner at Beaches and Cream, swim, and maybe mini-golf(a family favourite).
I am getting so excited already:yay:
I have been back and forth about transportation. Booked a car at aiport from Budget, but thinking of cancelling, taking ME to resort, and booking a limo to Port. I do all of the driving, and think the stress of getting to the Port, dropping off rental, getting back to Port, is just too much. I am suppose to be on vacation;)
I did book a rental for the day when we get back, as our return flight doesn't leave "till 8:30pm.
First cruise, so there are so many things to plan and so many questions.

Hi Petbren! Yes Im hopeing the weather for that week is mild and NO SNOW STORM! Im with you on the driving part, thought about a rental but as you stated its all about Vacation so we will use disney transfers or limo, probably end up using disney as we have done that in the past. I know you can save a little by using a limo but I dont think its all that much of a savings with it being just 4 of us.Im committing myself to putting money on the trip every 2 weeks so its really making me feel as though its closer in time! Will have to start thinking about excursions soon, but dont plan on doing many, spa time is a must though! We are spending just 1 day in the parks before cruise, and 1 day just at resort, with a cabana rental at the poly. Would like to try out the bw resort in the future! Wow I have been watching the weather channel this morning , hope every one on the dream is not having any real issues with the storm that is in the bahamas!:scared:

I checked the DCL site yesterday, and it said the CC stop had been cancelled. I'm sure there was probably lots of rain and ruff seas. That would suck, but not even Disney can control the weather;)
For me, it's not the price, but the timing of the Disney transfers. I am still toying with the idea of trying to upgrade to concierge at the Port. Even if I give up on that pipe dream, it's our first cruise, and I really want to sit and have a lunch, and make sure we have a nice tour around the definatly get to the open house for Vibe . It seems too rushed for me if we don't arrive there "till 1 ish.
We are not going into parks on the Friday, much to DD dismay. We will probably walk over too the bridge and watch Illuminations, but we have plenty to do around the Boardwalk.

Longer would be great, I agree, but as a :teacher: my MB is too short!!!! :rotfl2:

We will be sailing on the Fantasy during March Break. Flying out of Buffalo on the Friday morning and staying near the port. We will also be flying our late Saturday night and staying an evening at Buffalo prior to returning.

Can't wait!!

We took the Friday off too, except DH works at downtown TO hospital until 7:30am:worried: My biggest stressor is getting him home on time(he is trying to get off ah hour early) and the drive into airport will go well. I know we don't have to be at Buffalo airport 2 hours early, but never been there less than an hour before flight :scared1:
The weather better cooperate:eek:

Unfortunately DW is a teacher so there is no chance of her getting Friday off. I however will be off and waiting with the kids for her to arrive home and then we are on the road. We have the 8:10 direct with SW booked that night. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. With the Fantasy leaving Saturday I would rather get down a day early even if it means getting in late than risk going down day of, esp in March. I will be glued to the traffic and weather reports that day however.

Our 'record' for late arrival at the airport was about 45 MIN before the flight. Lucky the plane was delayed by about 90 min, still it was scarey.

wow seems the fantasy had one heck of a sailing this weekend!Feel sorry for all those passengers, sure hope our cruise is uneventfull and we have smooth sailing! Makes me rethink any future cruises when the threat of a hurricane is more prevelent. Our cruise is really getting so much closer , once xmas is upon us I think time will really fly by!:cloud9:

Does anyone have experience with Disney transfers from the resorts? We will be using Disney transportation to the port for the first time. We'll be at Bay Lake Tower and will be picked up at the Contemporary. Any idea what time the buses depart Disney?

I'm amazed after seeing photos and video of the Fantasy's voyage last weekend that she was ready to sail out again on Saturday. The damage looked considerable in some places. Scary for all concerned.
