5K ---- What do you do if you have children?

Hi. I posted this in the other active 5K thread but either it got overlooked or nobody had the answer. Maybe some veteran runners have an answer that haven't looked at that thread.

So, what do you do with your kids if you want to run? Do you just not get to participate if you have children without extra family members to watch them? Or can you check them in with someone on the ship who will then take them to Scuttles cove? (I know the club isn't open on the ship while at Castaway Cay)

My husband and I would both like to set this as a goal, but have no extra family traveling with us.

Thanks!

I wish I knew the answer to this! I ran it last June and DH wanted to run in it too, but we couldn't figure out how to work the childcare issue. So I just ran it by myself.

Scuttles cove is open by then...on the way to the race you check them in (on the island, not on the ship). Have a great run!!

You bring them to the race check in lounge with you...you all leave ship together and as you pass the scuttles area (which is on way to race), you stop, check them in and jog to catch up with the group that keeps walking toward starting line. The people that did it on my August cruise had no problem checking in very quickly.
