Can anyone direct me to a site for golf cart rentals? Is it true that Kenny from Tee Time is the only one who drops off at the campground (or is it that he drops off out front).

Thank you.

Here is Kenny's site. I don't know for sure about any one else.

I haven't used them yet but I have a current reservation. They are very helpful and professional. Not to mention reasonable. I forgot to ask them where our cart will be though. Does anyone know that answer?

we've used Kenny's. they dropped it off at the outpost bus stop and picked it up from our site when we departed. good service, good cart.

You will probably get a call from Kenny in the morning and he will tell you if you have to get it from a lot or at your site. He delivered ours and we didn't even realize he was there!

The only thing I didn't "like" was the fact that Kenny's carts don't have a roof over the back seat, only the front. So if it rained, which it does in Florida almost every day, the back seat passengers were out in it. His carts do have rain covers for the front seat, but nothing at all for the back. We kept towels under the front seat to wipe off seats and would cover our heads to keep dry.

I am not sure what lot you aretalking about. I was under the assumption he delivered to FW for all his reservations.

deleted, because someone called Kenny and he called me about my post. It also seems that person didn't bother to tell him I posted my concern for his business.

Because he's a nice guy and provides a good service, I'm deleting my posts.

Does anyone know if Kenny's carts have a d/c power plug ? Were going Dec 2nd and want to decorate the cart with lights. I can adjust my plans if they don't. I'm just trying to pre-plan as usual.

there are golf cart parking lots around FW - Outposst, Laundry, Meadows, Settlement, Marina.

i think as long as you pre-order and pay for a golf cart,Disney is fine. Same as renting a stroller, ECV, wheelchair, etc. it's the vendors who used to set up in the parking lot and sell on the spot that Disney took issue with.

if too much is discussed here and other places, Disney may change their mind. Then we have only ourselves to blame.

I can understand Kenny's point of view.

Why go pick up a cart on Saturday morning if you have to bring a cart out on Saturday evening?

And Mary2e, the Fort is aware of Kenny. But they seem to have a policy of "no trolling for business" at the Fort. Order fulfilment is permitted. That is to say, as sharadoc said, all the business part of the transaction is completed before your arrive. Only the delivery/pickup occurs at the Fort.

Much like Garden Grocers who deliver food to the Fort for folks. It competes with the (limited) grocery business at the Trading Post. But all business transactions related to it takes place before people arrive at the Fort.

Or the the stroller rental companies that deliver to the resorts at WDW. They compete directly with the stroller rentals in the parks. But again, all business is not transacted in the park.

If Kenny were circling the loops in the Fort with a big sign on the side of a truck that said "Golf Carts For Rent" I would shut them down too if I were Fort management. But he doesn't do that.

I'm glad Tee Time is out there to offer people a choice.

I'm glad to hear it. Really I am. If you re-read my post, I stated that it's a shame if they shut him down. I've been a long time customer.

To the person who called Kenny about my post - this is the internet - and had I actually made a complaint about a poor service, which I did not, I would not have expected someone to rat me out. In this case, I was expressing my concern for his good service and business and I only deleted my post because Kenny is a nice guy.

However, this does not speak well about anyone being able to offer their opinion if there are people here who will immediately go to the business owner and partially read posts, and get them upset.

I've been on the internet a long time and posting to travel boards and I've never had such an experience - particularly when I wasn't complaining - only giving my opinion about something that is good.

I guess only rosy-happy posts are permitted here, not any real information.

Don't know if this has been covered at all and I'm not going to read through the whole thread to check as time doesn't permit but, we were told by Disney that any cart left unattended for an extended period not in a site is being towed (overnight). FYI.

there are other cart rental companies, many lost their priviledges because they had their business names on the carts. i rent from someone elso who is also great but he prefers not to be posted on the dis at all but passed on by word of mouth. Great service, great prices!!! Clean carts in great condition!!!
