Are there any cruise/parks perks for disney Visa card holders?
At the Parks, there's a character photo op at Innoventions just for Disney Visa holders (w/a free 5x7 print). Also, you get 10% off purchases over $50 at certain stores, 10% off selected dining, and 20% off selected tours. The dining perk is new for the "regular" Disney Visa Card.

For the discounts, you need to mention the discount when you make the purchase (or reserve the tour, or go to dinner, etc). It's not an automatic thing.

Oh, and Chase has a new (re-done) no-annual-fee Disney Visa Debit Card that has the same perks. But you don't earn any rewards dollars.

Does anyone know who the characters are at the meet and greet? We weren't planning on going to Epcot on our day at WDW but maybe we should since we have the Disney visa.

6 months 0% interest for Disney Cruise bookings on the Disney Visa.

And, according to a thread I read on here a few days ago, apparently you can add some money to your onboard account (charged on your Disney Visa) prior to your sail date (for tips, excursions, etc.) and as long as you do it before you sail, that is also 6 months 0% interest.

The characters varying and they won't tell you if you stop by.

Interesting. At DL the characters rotate every 1/2 hour between Minnie and Stitch. Prior to the grand reopening of California Adventure it was Pluto or Chip and Dale rotating every half hour. I would have thought it would be scheduled similarly at Epcot.

At EPCOT in Sept 2011 it was Mickey and Pluto but I'm sure they change. They took a ton of pictures, just my boys with them, individuals of the boys hugging the characters, and shots with the 4 adults and the boys with them and then we could choose one for the free 5x7. We had pre-ordered the Photopass CD and they loaded all of the shots onto that for us too. If we happen to be in EPCOT during the time frame on the WDW day, which I doubt will happen, we would definately do it again. You might want to show up early and get in line while someone else plays with the kids in the Innoventions pavillion, otherwise the line can get a little long. We left the first day that we attempted to do it and realized that we needed to come earlier.

I've had our pictures taken at Innovations several times. It has always been Mickey with another character or 2. Mickey, Minnie and Pluto was the latest group... It is worth going...the line has never been very long, you get personal attention. No other guests are in the room with the characters and your party. They will take pictures with your camera as well as the getting the free one using your photopass.
Have fun!

I've done the meet & greet 5 times, and it's always been some combination of Mickey/Minnie/Pluto/Goofy.

Thanks for posting this link! Thrilled to see The Wave and Sanaa on the list! :goodvibes
You're welcome!

I have this picture for the last four years and it has almost always been Micky, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy. It is a great opportunity because it is rare to have all four characters like that together in a picture, but I don't know if it is worth it to change your plans. Also if you do change your plans check the times - it is a very specific time period each day that they are there.

When u get to WDW u can get a calendar that has all the event times and locations. As someone else said, they are specific. Personally, I would not make a special trip to Epcot for the sake of a free 5x7- u will have tons of family photo ops and the crew members will take your pic with your camera too :).

I didn't catch if you are doing cruise too....character pics are easy and plentiful on the ships :)

It's in California Adventure, back by Flynn's Arcade. It usually starts 90 minutes after opening and goes for 90 minutes, rotating characters every 30 minutes.

Great thanks for the information
