Absolutely there is. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. I usually bring those Purex 3 in 1 sheets.

There are several laundry rooms on the ship for guest use, each with multiple washers and dryers.

My experience is on the Wonder...but I won't do laundry again. I did it on a port evening, figuring most people won't be doing it then. I got a washer, but apparently everyone who used a dryer just left it running, and disappeared. I was 3rd in line, just waiting for people to come get their stuff, meanwhile, hogging washers because we couldn't move ours. Finally 2 of the ladies started folding other people's clothes just so we could use the dryers! It took me a couple hours and lots of walking back and forth to do 1 load, and I could have paid to have it done for no hassle. Never again!

This is a pet peeve of mine. There were 3 of us on this past cruise waiting for machines. We finally started taking things out of washers and dryers and putting them on the table. Some of those machines had clothes in them more than 30 minutes after they finished. There is a chart that tells you how long each cycle is. I hate touching other people's laundry, but That was the only way we were going to get it done. One lady didn't come back for her clothes for over 2.5 hours. I know this because that is how long it finally took me to get just two loads done. I think I will skip the laundry this time too.

I can see the value of doing laundry on a longer cruise, but cruises on the Dream are only 3-5 nights. I will probably do laundry at my WDW resort just before I sail on the Fantasy in December - just so I won't have to do laundry on the ship.

Yes there are washers and dryers on most (if not all?) stateroom decks. . I agree with PPs that it can be a pain. But I always plan for at least one emergency load.

Most importantly, read the instructions for the washers! Apparently my degree in English did not prepare me for these washers! I should have studied engineering!

On the Wonder, the washers are very poor spinners. Even if you are washing darks, you must use warm water in the normal cycle - cold water only has perm press (or whatever) and will be sopping wet when done "spinning". I learned this the hard way. Also, one dryer was so messed up, it took four swipes to get it going. I got charged for them all. I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of going to GS for $3. I just considered it my donation to the Disney Conservation Fund.

I took some clothes out of a dryer (by common consent of several other passengers who were also waiting and waiting and waiting.) The clothes were still there a week later when we disembarked.

that's the last time I did laundry on a cruise, even a 15-nighter. Vacations are too short to spend them doing laundry. unless you have young kids and it's an emergency.

Nice laundry area on Dream..washer's/dryers/folding tables and ironing boards. The one nearest our stateroom was not crowded and I had no problem doing a quick load of stuff....and it was nice to wash and dry the beach towels we brought along from home Uses your KTWC to pay.

I did laundry my last day on the Wonder, and it took 4 swipes for my clothes to dry. I was so angry by the 4th time I was ready to absolutely explode. I went to Guest Services to complain, and they were like, "Take the clothes to another deck and try another dryer." I let them know that every laundry room was full, and the lady ust shrugged. This made me so mad I almost went to the future cruise deck and canceled the cruiose I had booked a few hours earlier right before I started my my laundry. Luckilly, the mixology class was right after the clothes finallydried, and I felty better in a few hours. However, the lesson was learned. Never, EVER, do laundry on the last day of the cruise.
