September 2012 TR - *Day 2 Epcot/Dessert Party added*

September 2012 - A Trip Report in pictures (because the lazy OP forgot to take notes)

See I may have forgotten to take notes but I certainly did not forget to take lots of photos and by lots I mean over 2000 (don't worry I will not be showing all 2000+ photos)

I will add some words to this TR, hopefully my memory isn't as bad as I think it is.

Anyways,

Day 1 - September 8th.

We stayed in POP Century and on our first morning we woke up with this lovely view. Hello Art of Animation.

We stopped for breakfast in the food court. I love me some pancakes! Then we headed over to MK for ropedrop. I have never done a rope drop before and I'm so glad we did, we got alot done that morning.

My fave part of rope drop was the abililty to take photos of the castle without herds of people in the shot.

A quick photopass piccie (note: My hair gets bigger as the trip goes on LOL)

We sorted out photopass plus and ended up in Tomorrowland.

Yes... he's THAT excited

We decided to go help Buzz fight Zurg. Me and Zurg are sworn enemies, can you tell? lol

After that exhausting battle we bumped into these two guys.

Next up Space Mountain (My faces on rides do not get any better, you have been warned!)

We had wonderful timing with things this morning, after SM we bumped into Stitch. Awww I love him, he was so much fun.

We left Tomorrowland and saw this crazy dude trying to evade the law.

We sat through Philharmagic (one of my fave attractions) and a CM invited us all to a soft opening of Enchanted Tales With Belle. It was pretty cool to go do this and I did enjoy it.

Next up we did Haunted Mansion, Swiss Family Treehouse, Jungle Cruise and Pirates (where a CM was relieved that I had made it through the ride because he thought the pirates might have taken me due to my red hair lol)

We probably stopped for something to eat at somepoint lol I think we ate at Pinocchio's Village Haus? We grabbed a coke and queued up for Big Thunder Mountain.

Headed back towards Pirates and spotted our friend Mr Sparrow. We stood and watched him for a bit. This was not to be the last time me and Mr Sparrow crossed paths.

After this we headed back to Pop to chill for a bit. That night we had dinner at Cali Grill. I didn't take my camera though. Doh. Dinner was lovely though, really enjoyed myself. Weould definitely go again. After dinner we went back to the hotel and went straight off to sleep.

Next up: Epcot.

Thank you, you should definitely give ropedrop a go. It's not something I could do every morning but we got so much achieved. x

Thanks I really liked the effects they used for the enchanted tales and it was nice to see Belle in her ball gown. I can see it being a hit with little (and big) princesses. x

We woke up early again this morning, got up, headed down to the food court for breakfast. After we'd eaten we jumped on the next bus to Epcot. As we pulled into the bus stop the rain started to fall.
As you can tell by the photo my straight hair didn't last down because of the rain and the wind.

We walked straight onto Spaceship Earth which seemed mch darker. It was still raining outside and it pretty much rained on and off all day so I didn't take too many photos during the day.
We decided to head over to the Seas first. We rode Nemo, which if I'm being honest is one of my two favs at Epcot (The other being down for a refurb )

After the Seas we stopped over at the land. We bothed queued up for Soarin and even sat down on the ride but I ended up running from it. For some reason or other I'm terrified of Soarin'.... chuck me on Tower of Terror and I'm fine but a flying bench? nope, sorry, not doing it.

To calm my already shot nerves we rode Living with the land.

We had lunch as Seasons and decided to brave the outside weather.

From my point of view I really missed Test Track, I missed riding it and I think we both found that Epcot sounded weirdly quiet without hearing the cars fly by.

The weather started to pick up slightly so we deciced to go on Ellen's Energy Adventure in the hopes that by time the ride was over we may see some sunshine.

It had finally stopped raining so it was time to stroll around the world. Stopping on the way to ride Maelstrom and to pose with a sombrero. (Which I'm pretty sure no one actually buys, they just use them for photo props lol)

Time was ticking on and because we had the Dessert Party and EMH over at the Magic Kingdom that night we decided to head back to the hotel for a rest.
After months of stalking the Dessert Party thread it was now time to stuff our faces with sugary treats. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom and headed straight for the party. We were given a table infront of the railing so that was pretty cool. The desserts were okay but found that they took them away pretty early. The view for the fireworks was good and it's nice not to be trod on by other guests. For me the DP is worth it but for James not so much.

After the DP we went straight to Tomorrowland to ride the People Mover, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

We decided to call it a day, we were both tired. Before we left MK I stopped to take a few photos of one of my fav photo spots in the park.

I couldn't resist a photo of Main St. all lit up.

Next Up: Hollywood Studios

I really enjoy the party but James doesn't, so I don't think we'll be doing it next time.

Okaaay, so it's been a few weeks since I updated. I keep meaning to but I just haven't found the time to motive myself. Disney blues (Yeah, I know that sounds strange coming from someone who has 2 Disney trips booked for next year lol).

Anyways, our 3rd day was in Hollywood Studios. I apologise now for the amount of Fantasmic piccies, I got carried away.

We stopped for some photopass pics, with a very nice CM.Shee tried to tell us about MNSSHP... no need lady! lol. Turns out we were going to the party after hers.

We headed for Toy Story Mania, grabbed fast passes and rode it twice.

Our next stop was the Backlot Tour. Que my action shot...

and yes, I got excited when I saw this... (I love Jaws)

Star Tours was next. We both love Star Wars so we really enjoy this ride.

We headed somewhere for lunch, taking a few pics on the way.

After lunch we headed over to Rock 'n' Rollercoaster & Tower of Terror. ToT was never a ride I was overly keen on but this time I was determined to hold my hands in the air. I managed it on our first ride and ToT is now one of my fave rides ever.

I was trying to look like I was enjoying myself - fail lol
