Parking At/Flying Out of Logan

For our first time ever we are trying Jetblue out of Logan for a cruise in February. What are your suggestions for transportation to Logan or parking there if we drive in? We live just west of Worcester. Thanks! :)

We use PreFlight Parking near the airport. On their website they have coupons for saving 20%. Works out pretty good - certainly cheaper than parking at the airport.

I've used Pre-Flight parking a few times and they are a help. Shuttles are numerous and easy.
From Worcester there's also the Logan Express bus from Framingham. They also have a parking lot so you wouldn't have to drive all the way in.

I was also going to suggest Logan Express from Framingham as well.

I live south of Boston, and will usually take Logan Express from Braintree, or the Harbor Express water shuttle from Quincy.

We just parked in Central Parking, for a JB flight, last week....gone from Wednesday morning until Monday night, late. It cost me $162!!! Almost as much as my rental car in CA cost me...that was $175!!!
I would recommend using PreFlight....works very well. But it can be tricky to find...at least for me!!
I have used Knights before as well, but that can be pricey as well. And if my dh is flying and doesn't want to park the car, I drop him at the Logan Express in Framingham....very quick from central Ma.

I'd check flylogan.com - the official website - and look at the transportation page. For a park & fly that's easy to find, drive past/out of the airport, north on 1A about a mile. There's a Thrifty Car Rental on the left at the traffic light that also offers park & fly at reasonable rates, and has continual shuttles.

I've used PreFlight & Park, Shuttle & Fly many times. Both are good. Don't use Thrifty's long term parking. I had a bad experience there. My only time ever having a bad experience with an off-site airport parking company. The Logan Express is a good suggestion too. FYI in case you don't know. JB is now flying out of PVD. Not as many flight choices as flying out of BOS & I don't know where you're flying to but worth checking out for the next time around. It's certainly easier to get to PVD from Worcester then Logan. Enjoy your cruise!

Just a caution for those planning on using Logan Express. Be sure you know the schedule and, more importantly, what time your flight gets back. Unlike ME, LE is not 24/7.

So true...I know people that have been delayed and then found no way to get to Logan Express lots since the buses had stopped running!!!! Costly error.

We used the economy parking lot at logan last June and will use it again in Nov. It is very reasonable and convenient. It is on property and they have a shuttle to take you to your terminal. Check out parking on logans website, all the info is there.

I hope I NEVER have to park and fly out of Logan again....last fall we went for 4 days, parked at airport longterm parking (stupid bus ride to garage that wasn't at airport) it cost us 100.00:sad:

Another frequent Preflight user. They always have discount coupons on their website you can print too.

Best advice if you live west of Worcester is to fly out of PVD. Parking is cheaper and its easier to get to. Get on 146 and take that down to 95 and you're there.

Green is my preferred airport, but......JB isn't flying nearly as many flights out of there yet. As of now, I use Green primarily for SW flights.
I live east of Worcester, Rt 9/495 area.....it's an hour to TF Green, and about 40 mins to Logan. But parking is cheaper at Green, and much easier. Can't wait for JB to up their flights there!!!

Excuse my niaveté (people live west of Worcester? :umbrella: ) - but wouldn't Hartford be a better option, at least geographically, for those residents?

Whenever we have flown in the past 10+ years, we have always used Southwest out of Providence or Hartford. We are going on a cruise for February school vacation and were able to get a much better rate on our flight down using Jetblue out of Boston. Trying to avoid too many extra days of having to take the kids out of school.

JB also flies out of Hartford and parking is cheap there plus fares are good thanks to the competition with SWA. From Worcester, PVD and BDL are the same time door to door, although BDL is a few miles further distancewise, it is all interstate highway.
