With the passion you have for all things Disney it would have been criminal if you didn't get in. And in Concierge too - you'll be perfect. Your trip reports have been so educational (and enjoyable of course) to those of us who can't go so often, and with those resources to be available to guests at Disney, I can't think that anyone would be more suited. Who knows, maybe we will need to call on your services whilst we're there in February.

That park map thing is brilliant! I mean, who else would think of something so awesome as to coat the maps with a plastic that helps you remove gum? Only Disney!

Last nights are sad... but I had SO much fun! It was a great way to wrap up! The October trip was wonderful... I can't wait to tell all about it!
Aww thank you! Usually you find out when you get there... but about 2 or 3 weeks before I move down there, the current cast members can look up where the CP's are being placed. So my friend Miranda is going to look up where I'm working once the information is put up! I can't wait to see! I hope I get either a MK or Epcot resort! It really is - thank you so much!

YAY, you got to meet up with Joni! I swear it's so true... I was lost before the DIS. I mean, I knew tons about WDW from my trips and books, but I didn't know that much about the resorts or the restaurants and I had NO Disney World obsessed friends!

I don't know exactly how I am going to report back on my DCP. I know it's going to be busy so I am going to have to figure out the most efficient way to do everything. I am currently thinking that I will keep my tumblr updated... and then I'll figure out something from there!

Congrats for such a great offer and getting to live at WDW!! So can't wait to hear how it is to live out our dream. I bet it's the most amazing experience to live. Makes me wish I was a young lady and had this kind of experience too.

Congratulations again. I tried to get in the CP. I forgot I had a 15 yr old daughter in all the excitement. So when they called for my phone interview I had to tell them I couldn't do the CP. I was so sad that day lol. I am going to work there one day I swear. Like I said on twitter, we are going in February so we will have to have a Dismeet

I'm doing attractions and arriving January 22nd! I'm only Spring (for right now, I might extend once I'm there!) I'm not sure about Spring Advantage but the only dates in January left when I chose mine about a week ago were the 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th. For some reason Concierge and Attractions can only choose certain dates for arrival but I think all of those worked. I noticed that if you chose the 21st, you left a week earlier than the 22nd...so I'll take the extra week please and thank you! Plus it worked out perfectly with January room discounts for staying the night before check in. So that's in 100 days from today, eek! Luckily I have a December WDW trip to tide me over. I'm planning to write a TR for that to handle the excitement in between the trip and checkin haha. I just can't wait to hear where I'll be working! I know it will be a lot of fun, even if it's something super frumpy like Universe of Energy haha.

Again, Congratulations Jess! You definitely deserved it. I wish I was going back down in the coming year, but I know for a fact my next trip back won't be until 2014. It also would've given me a reason to visit the Grand Floridian (besides just looking around). I'm hoping I get as much luck as you did with getting into the program on your first try.
Wow, those are a lot of facts Ryan told you about the park. I feel I need to copy these down to bother my family with next time we're in there. Maybe give them a new appreciation for the place like me. That would be fantastic! And that's awesome he's trying to get a Professional Internship at Disney. He seems like he knows Disney pretty well so I wish him good luck with that!

That's awesome! Yeah, my friend Mark is moving in on the 22nd for that same reason! I am going to accept my offer at the beginning of next week... once I FINALLY get it cleared by my advisor.

Haha yes, little kids stopped me in the park. I will tell all about that in the TR! And yeah I will probably go to an audition while I'm down there. I was going to go to one tomorrow, actually, but it's 6 hours away and I REALLY want to do my concierge role. So I didn't find all of the driving necessary this time around. I'll try again later when I get to WDW!

No. They're not going to prevent you from doing the program. They just need to approve you of it and he's impossible to get ahold of.
