Where can I find info about this? DD6 is DYING to ride a pony! I'm not looking for a trail ride - but don't they have just a pony ride where you walk around the ring? When/how much/is it cancelled a lot/etc??

Per AllEars.Net:
1) $5.00
2) 10:00am-5:00pm
3) Kids must have closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops.
4) No ressies available.

NOTE: I thought they were canceled, but according to above, no.

Unless it's changed in the past year you can walk up any time during those hours. You are the one that leads the pony, not the person working there. You just lead the pony around the corral one time. It's great if your child really wants to ride on a pony if they've never done it before. Make sure you also go in the stable and see the other horses and the calliope.

Perfect! Thank you! And yes, she has been DYING to ride a pony - sad to say if we did this it may be the highlight of her trip! :rotfl2::rotfl:

It's not much of a pony ride but it is better than ones where the ponies are attached to those circular things that make them walk in circles. I'm sure your DD will love it. I'm guessing they don't do it when it rains but you can just ask at check in.

only things that could put a damper on the ride is rain and child's height. there is a limit of 48 inches. there is a measure there. yes you walk child around the area on a sort of trail. i would be prepared to have to pay for a second ride as it will probabily be begged for, based on my grandson trip to the stable.
