I JUST DID!!! :cheer2: Our fifth cruise!!!

I'm thinking about it. Have it reserved but need to decide by tomorrow and I need to convince my husband this is a good deal and worth it to go. How do you find it for only children? Reserved for March 1st 8 day Bahamas cruise from Galveston. I think we would all have fun.

Also is the difference in price for inside vs veranda cabin worth it? We have always had a balcony but the inside seems large enough.

This individual tells about last trip going from outside to inside. They will not let me put link but under trip reports cruises. Their are two reports, one from last year also. If any thing great reading. Mc Sparklesons

Called today and had the KSF applied to my balance and I saved $619.00 - yeah!!! I was so happy that my dad saw the KSF promotion - thank you dad!!:cool1::cool1:

Is anyone dressing up for pirate night? Almost finished with DD's costume now. :) It's also the night of her birthday, the 13th. She'll be the cutie dressed in pink and black with the feathered minnie ears on. :)

We are thinking about getting the Guy Harvey pirate T-shirts and wearing bandannas. My DS 15 is of course too cool to dress up and my daughter is on the shelf about it - we did see a cute pirate outfit on Esty but she hasn't really decided if she likes it. Now my dad is interested in dressing up and has had my mom looking for costumes but I think she has come to the conclusion that it would cost about $400 for us all to get costumes.

I have never been on a cruise so I can't say about the inside vs the balcony. We got a balcony because we figure it is our first cruise and we are going to go all out incase we decide we don't like cruises!

Dad I don't think you can post links until you reach a certain amount of post you have made.

Welcome aboard the Disney Cruise addiction!! You have no idea what you are in for.:thumbsup2 The FE is fun and I love coming up with creative ideas. It's amazing the talent people have and so fun seeing what they come up with. I have already started on my FE's for my Dec Fantasy 2013 Xmas cruise. I think that there will be alot of DIS'ers on that cruise so best start now.:).

Ok let's do fish extenders it will be fun even if there are only a few of us! I will admit I have not the first idea about how to organize that! There are a lot of teens and tweens in the group so that should make coming up with things a challenge, but it will be a fun challenge!!

I have organized a few FE lists for my cruises. Check out my web page for my Dec 2013 cruise, link in my signature. Its not to hard just can sometimes be time consuming. Girls regardless of age are easy...boys on the other hand are harder to come up with ideas, especially the older they get. . I wasn't going to do the FE since it was a last minute booking but I can't imagine not doing it. I have all my clothes in a tote. Still trying to find my DD(12) a formal. Her formal was lent to a friend of mine and she accidently ripped it. Just an accident but I now have to find another, hoping Xmas will bring out more dresses. I will also be able to see what fits the girls after Christmas once they know they are going. Well off to order some of the components to my FE. TTFN

We just changed to this sail date to get the Kids Free Offer :dance3::dance3: We were sailing March 23 but the savings to change to this cruise was too great of a deal for us to resist. I am a little nervous about the weather being kinda cool at this time of year. We like WARM, SUNNY weather so we can enjoy the beaches but we've never been to Grand Cayman or Cozumel so I am sure it will all work out. This will be our 5th Disney Cruise, the first time we sail in the winter and our first time on the Magic. It is me, DH, our DD(15) and her best friend (also 15). Looking forward to the short drive to Galveston - we are from the Lafayette area.

We sail in 120 days from today :banana::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Welcome aboard! We are also a little worried about the weather, but I hear and have read here that the weather in Cozumel and grand cayman is generally pretty warm. I hope so because we are booking the swimming with the sting rays excursion and I hate to be cold in the water and especially on a boat!! This is our first cruise and we are so excited! We have been wanting to do a Disney cruise, but the thought of a twelve hour drive for a three or four day cruise just kept making us say no. So when the Galveston cruises came out the first thing I did was look at Mardi GRAS week to see if it would work and within an hour I had committed and booked it!! Now to just wait and wait and wait! But when we booked it we had over 300 days to wait - my son now looks at it this way - twenty more days till we are in double digit numbers! That will make us really excited!

Welcome aboard!!! So excited--can't wait for New Years cause then we are closer!!!

Ok Michelle I looked at your website for your Christmas cruise and wow that is very organized! So I guess I will compile a list of people who want to participate and maybe we can at least have one family do something each day - that would still be fun.

That makes me want to go on that cruise! I would love to go at Christmas but I am sure it is sold out!

Of course ya know I had to go check that cruise out and there are plenty of rooms available, but unfortunately we are not out of school at that time and my children both go to very demanding private schools where missing school for a cruise would greatly be frowned upon and not to mention the amount of material they would miss they would never recover oh and one more point is my son would miss mid year exams (I am sure he would be fine with that!)

Ok so if you want to participate it the fish extenders let me know the names, gender of the kids and ages and I guess if there are any allegies incase someone did food. I will compile a list and post it and keep it updated. Maybe some more people will join us!
Oh and the room number if you know it.

We would like to participate in the FE! Michelle (me), Jim (DH), Josh (17DS), Hannah (16DD) & Matthew 12 -week after the cruise-DS) Cabin #8008

When we cruised the Fantasy in June we had SO many participating that we ended up splitting them into 3 groups! :grouphug: They cut off each one at 23-25 cabins as to limit cost. We left it up to each cabin if they wanted to do a "per cabin" gift or "per person gift". We didn't have a designated delivery day as we had 23 cabins and it was only a 7 night cruise!:lmao: Some days our FE had to be emptied twice a day!
This was our first time participating in a FE and it was almost like christmas!! It was so much fun! I'm glad y'all want to do one!:thumbsup2

(side note:when we joined that meet thread it was 470 days from sailing......we had plenty of time to get to know each other and work on all of those gifts! I'll have to speed up my game for this one!:rotfl2:)

Well my dd and I discussed it last night and got an idea of what we want to do. Months ago we had looked all through the thread about the fish extenders so we had some ideas. Now it is just to make those ideas - I guess that is what we will spend thanksgiving and Christmas break doing. We do have valentines day while we are on the cruise so that may make for an easy gift. We have some ideas that involve a regional celebration that happens while we are on the cruise. It will be fun!
