Can you please post any pictures of the 100/200 sites you may have. I'm starting to get worried about space with the sand pad. I have a 30 ft camper and a crew cab truck. We also want room to decorate. We'll be there Dec 2-9. Last year we stayed in 1400 and loved it. But so far I could only get a Prefered site since all Premium ones were gone. We have a cart reserved so distance is not and issue.

You tube has a tour of both loops. We just stayed in 200 with a 24' and our van is 18'. Had plenty of room for a full kitchen set up and a large screen house.

I know a lot of people like those loops, but personally we do not. They don't seem to have as much room as the others. It looks pretty tight & not as much room between sites. We have a 32ft 5th wheel with crew cab.

Loops 100-200 are the only sites we stay in, but we do not tow a vehicle there and have a 34ft MH. There would be a few sites that would be able to accommodate your set up, but not all. We have sometimes even had a problem if we are in the *bend* of the loop and there are vehicles sort of taking up more than their space

Be aware also that these are the pet-free loops.

In 2009 we were in site 215 with our 20' TT (no slides). This site is on the inside loop. The site to our left was on the bend so we actually had the back of their TT facing the side of ours (if that makes sense). There was a large electrical box on the corner of our site but it did not make any buzzing noises (though if we had the choice I would rather it not be there. It was quite large).

This is a pic of that site:

In 2010 we had upgraded to a 29' TT with 1 slide. That year we were given site 215. This one was on the outside of the loop but I remember that it seemed to be much closer to the site facing our door. At one point a popup was at that site and pitched the popup so close to the edge of their site that we could hear word for word what was being said everytime they were in it. Thankfully we only had 2 days before we left.

Here is a pic of that site.

Basically the preferred sites are definitely closer and tighter than most premium ones. The full hookup sites towards the back looked much larger and spacious (but the trade off is location). I guess it comes down to what is worth more to you. Have a great trip!:thumbsup2 (Sorry the pics are so large. I haven't quite figured out how to resize them :(

The Preferred Loops, 100-300 are the oldest in the Fort, so I guess Walt learned his lesson as they expanded and made newer sites larger. Of course the size of sites depends on the real estate. You will find some tiny sites in other loops, but most Premium sites will appear to be the largest since the concrete has been expanded in both directions in the sites. I also prefer the 1400 outer loop, but we have been in the 1200 on our last two visits and have had plenty of room for our 37 ' MH, a cargo trailer, GC, and occasional rental car. If you keep trying, maybe a Premium will open up.

We have been in 200 loop with 30ft. trailer and Yukon XL. Not enough length and most of all way to close side to side. Made us glad our neighbors were at the parks most of the day. Don't want they loops again.

We love the 100 & 200 loops! but we have a smaller travel trailer.. 27ft... but we do have a full size Ford quad cab. We had site 202 last Halloween and fit just perfect. Trailer was completely on the blacktop, put canopy out back over sand pad (parked golf cart under it if it rained :) ) and truck was fully on blacktop too... and we still had some space... Here's a photo....

However our trip before that, we had the 1400 premium loop and the sites were huge by comparison... Here's that site photo....

I'm guessing it's a personal preference on how much space you want vs being closer to the front.... We'll be back to loops 100/200 in less than 18 days!!! :woohoo:

Thanks Everyone. I'm sure we'll be okay either way. I'm starting to call daily now. We really liked the 1400 outer loop last time.

Search Fort Wilderness Sites on the android app market. Pics of all sites. Not sure if there is an Iphone app or not.
