Sorry for the lousy spelling..this is the hibachi place in Epcot, has anyone ever eaten there? If so how is the food and will they cater to a picky (DD12) eater?

I love the food there. It's pretty typical hibachi restaurant food. If you're 12 year old has never eaten there I'd try taking him to a hibachi near you to test it out if possible.

They won't bring him out chicken fingers or anything.

I think we are picky eaters too, but we all love the food here. If you don't like noodles, you can ask for just a stir fry with rice. As the other poster mentioned, no chicken nuggets, but plenty of other options that were yummy.

I would try it, it's a fun place to eat and worth it to try.

NOTE: The hibachi tables seat eight (two each side, four
front side). Sometimes they can squeeze nine if several kids.
Depending upon the chef, it can be exciting and entertaining,
or it can be almost dull. Quality is below a Benihana, but above
average for Japanese cuisine. It should be noted that medium
or large appetites will probably want to stop before or after
dinner for a snack, as the portions are medium-sized and big
eaters can leave hungry. (Just to answer a common question,
they only serve white rice, as fried rice is Chinese.)

We ate there for the first time this August. Don't expect a signature, however for a cs it was imo good. It was fun and interactive and we had picky eaters who really liked it. Is it my fav WS cs? No, but it is worth a try.

What do you mean by "cater to?"

And, it depends what you mean by "picky", if your picky D will only eat scallops and broccoli, you might be all set and worrying for nothing.

By picky I mean she'll eat chicken breasts and plain rice..and as for veggies well they have to be raw

Yes, they make chicken breast and I think the veggies are al dente, so they are cooked. The meal includes rice and noodles. My 4 year old really liked it.

The food is good but it's nothing special. I found it to be just like every other hibachi place I've been to, I'm not sure how they cater to picky appetites. My girlfriend loves it on the other hand and we are going back for our next trip.

Great restaurant! I love watching my kids eat with chopsticks they eat well there because they want to master the chopsticks. Super fun!
