Best DVC room for 4 adults?

Hi,

We are planning on renting DVC points for a quick 3 day trip in March.

I looked at the pics on line but the studios look smaller then a value room.

Can someone tell me if a BLT studio would be comfortable for 4 adults or what would be a better choice?

Thanks,
Maureen

From reading these boards, I think the BLT studios are some of the smallest and will feel too crowded for 4 adults.

The only studio where you will get 2 queen beds is OKW. Definitely check into OKW. All other studios will give you one queen bed and a full size pullout soda.

I wouldn't think a BLT studio would be comfortable for a family of four with two of them kids. It really is best for two adults or maybe two adults and an infant or toddler.

OKW is the only studio I'd choose with four adults.

But I'd go with a one bedroom villa. Then you just have to figure out who gets the king sized bed in the master bedroom and who gets the sleeper sofa and possibly sleeper chair in the living room. BLT, AKV (not value villas) and OKW have the twin sleeper chair. BLT and AKV (Kidani Village) have an extra bathroom in the one bedroom.

How are the 4 adults related? If it's 2 couples, I think a studio with 1 bathroom would be ackward. I'd do a 1 bedroom at either BLT or AKV Kidani and have 2 bathrooms.

I probably would go with Beach Club or Boardwalk for 3 adults. We recently stayed at BLT and we had two villa (each 1 bedroom) while they were big rooms, I don't think BLT is all that great. I prefer the other resorts.

If you can swing it, I would suggest a 1-bedroom as well. Otherwise, 2 studios, unless you are all comfy being in such close quarters.

Heck IMO, "BEST" would be a 2 bedroom.. so each couple has their own privacy with the common living area.. But I dont think I could do a studio anymore.. Just too small.. A 1 bedroom would be the least I would consider, and HIGHLY suggest the new DVC's with 2 bathrooms in the 1bedroom villas. (kidani and BLT)
