i just got back today from our best trip yet. i actually have to think really hard to find some lows so i will start with them.
the weather - we had a total downpour for two days. one we pretty much wasted and the other was at the end of the week so we thought stuff it its only a bit of rain and stayed out all day in it
mcdonalds - i hate hate hate the mcdonalds in the village. i just cannot comprehend why they are so slow, why does it take so long to put preprepared food in a bag? one night after dreams the girl forgot my burgers and as we were taking them back to the hotel we didnt realise till then. the night before they left a woman waiting for 20 minutes for her order and held up the whole queue instead of telling her to stand to one side and continue taking orders agh!!
an oopsie before the parade - while we were waiting for the parade two aurora's one from the pavillion we had just met there and another from the auberge walked through the parade route within 30 seconds of each other. i was really really shocked as there were so many people around, i can only imagine the amount of complaints they got that day.
thats about it, everything else exceeded my expectations.
highs
meals - we didnt have a bad meal all week. the cowboy cookout was amazing. the characters played hide and seek with the kids. pluto barely left ashleighs side. walts was excellent as always as was the silver spur.
cast members - i had so many cast members come up and praise ashleigh and her behaviour and her dresses and how much she seemed to enjoy herself. some spent a good while talking to us. one even said he didnt want kids unless he could have one as good as her and her friend are
dreams - there really are no words for dreams. the only way i can sum it up is friday was supposed to be the last night we watched it, until my five year old sobbed her heart out during it, said it was so beautiful she couldn't handle not seeing it again so we stayed out in the rain until ten on saturday to see it one last time.
characters - we had such amazing character interaction all week long. just to name a few, jack and sally, gaston, malefiecent, queen of hearts, mad hatter, old hag, stepsisters and lady tramaine and dr facillier all spent a lot of time with us and really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful holiday.
so how soon do you think i could book to go again lol
I promised ash i would have a short video ready for her when she got home from school, she loves looking at our pics, thought i would share the highlights of our trip.
