It's because they changed the format this year. Even though the first game is in Baltimore, the Yankees have home field advantage. Games 1 and 2 are in Baltimore, while games 3, 4 and 5 are in NY.

I'm in the minority here - We're an Orioles family and have been through thick and thin for years and years.

No matter what happens from this point forward, we're so proud of our Orioles we could burst. Not picking any alternate favorites because we're hoping for the best.

BTW does anyone else find it interesting that the third-place AL East team (Tampa Bay Rays) has a better record than the AL Central division winner (Detroit Tigers)? We've always said that the AL East is the toughest division in baseball.

...I changed my mind.....I've been watching the game, and those Orioles fans are not very nice , saying stuff like "Yankees S*CK, Yankees S*CK..." and when A-Rod is up at bat "A$$hole, a$$hole..."....really? Necessary? Not very sporting. I'd expect that from Boston or Philly, but Baltimore?....I suspect the NY fans will retaliate when it's back in the Bronx....
