And this trip makes about as much sense as that!

So here we are with 34 sleeps to go, myself and a very Alice besotted DD writing our pre trip report!

This trip came out of no where. I had signed up for a rewards club from my phone network provider and thought Oooh freebies and not much about it since but then when the goodies were being dished out we discovered I was eligible for free flights to Europe and yes, Paris was on the list! So with a bit of cajoling and ringing about two weeks ago we found out we had gotten flights to Beauvais for two weeks before Jemma's 7th birthday and well it certainly would be rude to visit Disneyland Paris.

Queen of Hearts: "And who is this?"
King of Hearts: "Let me see, my dear. It's certainly not a heart. Do you suppose it's a club?"

When and Where
2 nights and 3 glorious days at the Dream Castle from October 22nd to 24th.
We arrive at 9am and should be at the gates at 11am ready to make our temporary APs into real ones!

Aw bless the four us will have to trip together one day

Yeah all set I have been sorting out the music and videos on the I pods and I pad today already for the journey. Hopefully the Toy Story 1 and 2 Tangled, Chipmunks 1 and 2 and 8 episdodes of Mickey Mouseclubhouse will keep her entertained lol!

I would love to trip together, would be nice to be amongst like minded people as opposed to DH who just doesnt get it (but is dragged along anyway!)

Oh gosh its amazing what a bit of make up, tan and backcombing can do!! Lol I look like a wreck normally but TY.

I have gotten Jem a princess activity book for the journey but shes normally so excited on the way that the time fillers dont get looked at until the way home when shes feeling a bit sad and time is dragging.

I have a few bits and pieces to take snaps of so hopefully I will have an update on Tuesday morning with a pic of her bits and bobs. I must say I havent a huge amount to do before we go. I have most of her clothes organised (have to find my swimming togs) and theres not much that I have to buy. Just have to sort logistics for getting to and from the airport. 29 Sleeps

Alice: "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

And so the plot thickens!

The Cast has expanded! My best friend Elaine called down for our weekly chinwag and cuppa and tells me shes on hols from October 22nd and doesnt know what to do with herself. I told her that was the day myself and DD were off to DLP and all she said was "Get the laptop". So 20 minutes later she had booked some extremely good value flights to accompany us! Her flights came in at €90 and RS Transport added her on for the princely sum of €36 and she has her AP so its a bargain! We will add her onto the room at Dream Castle when we arrive Myself and DD are so so so excited. Elaine comes everywhere with us and has done 3 DLP trips with us already and DD is mad about her so the trip is getting more and more exciting and surprising by the second.

Alice: "Curiouser and curiouser!"

And on to DDs swag which she knows nothing about, bar the clothes

Her new Minnie jumper and princess bracelet and charms

Her photo album (€1 - bargain) which I filled with pics of her!

Her surprise lanyard and a few pins I picked her up and her Alice dress

And her Princess activity book for the plane

We are rethinking our meal plans at the minute so I'll be back with another update soon
This day two weeks we shall be in Dublin trying to sleep before our early start!!

Its Primark!! Penneys as its called here, but I think its only age 7 up. It says limited edition too but I doubt its too limited!
Elaine has her bag packed already! Its great that shes a big kid too! I dread to think of when she has her own children, I'd say she'll just move to France and be done with it!

If I don't soon stop shopping my husband will divorce me! And this is a budget trip!
We are planning it to death, just after having a very serious conversation about the merits of ordering kids meals at lunchtime at the CS! I think saving those precious euros at lunchtime may justify all the shopping in the run up to the trip!

Down to 5 now Leanne and im only running on autopilot because every thought is of DLP

Had a big discussion with DD with evening and the preference dinner wise is Planet Hollywood Monday night for a change, CM Tuesday night for the orderly (fingers crossed) character meet and a nice pizza and early dinner at Annettes before we leave on Wednesday. DD is obcessed with singer and pop stars so PH is her must do

Not much to do now except to look for my camera and try to get rid of another kg out of the suitcase. Cheers Ryanair for your paltry 15kg allowence grrrrrr

14kg at the minute and DDs pjs and Mondays clothes still have to come out never been so happy to stand on the scales and be up 14kg
I have loads of layer tops packed so I might just take a couple out too. Id rather have extra jeans then tops anyway. Lol acourse the heaviest things to pack.
1 sleep til we leave for Dublin and 2 til Disneyland Paris
