:scratchin I've looked everywhere for the Cricut Mickey Font cartridge to use for my grandaughters upcoming birthday and cannot find it anywhere except for ebay (at least $140+) or Amazon ($150+), I just cannot afford that. If anyone knows where I can find one I'd be very greatful. I don't care if it's used as long as it works and is in good condition. P

Hope you can help!!!:thumbsup2

I'm in California. Is there a phone # where I could call them and ask if they would sell me one and mail it?

I just saw them at michaels and joanns for $35ish. Think it was on sale. You can try joanns.com or even memorymiser.com I use them all the time.

Thank you, but I'm looking for Cricut Mickey Font cartridge not the Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridge (which I already have). I went to the site's you recommended but they only had the Mickey and Friends. I thought I had it at the memorymiser link but they just send you to ebay when you click on the different ones. They even had one listed for $19.95 but it doesn't end for at least 6 days. Every one of them goes up to well over a $100 by the time the auction is over and I just can't afford that.:confused3:scared:

Hello Booszoo!?!!

Which Part of Ohio have you seen the Mickey FOnt Cartridge in?

Please help!

I've been looking for the same cartridge for a baby shower for my daughter. It's selling for ridiculous prices! I found the digital version on cricuts website and, although I don't know how it works, there are video tutorials and such and I think I'm going to buy it that way. It's $39.99. In looking today I found that someone has the cartridge for sale for $65 at twopeasinabucket.com. It was posted by Leslyme4 & titled Mickey Font Cricut Cartridge for Sale. It was posted 7/26 so I don't know if they still have it.

I've still been looking for the Mickey Font Cartridge and I decided to look for scrapbooking stores in my area that might have it for use in the store and I found one! Yea! I've never been to this particular store but in the past I've known of stores that would let you use their equipment for free if you bought paper and other supplies from them.

:thumbsup2 Thank you, I never thought of that, I'll have to check that out. What state are you in--I'm in California and never heard of that but I'll check around.::yes:::goodvibes:)

cricutmachine.com has the mickey font as well as lots of older carts for under $24

I hate to get off topic, but can you explain or show me pictures of what a Cricut actually does. I was at Joann Fabrics today and saw two different models, one for $199 and one for $299. The Promo video was not going so I wasn't able to see a demonstration but have heard these would be good for scrapping? The cartridges seemed pricey at about $50-$60 a piece, and I only saw one for Disney which did not seem to have an overabundance of figures.

The cricut machine can do a ton. It cuts fabric, paper and vinyl. I use it to cut out appliques and scrapbook. Here is a picture of an outfit I just made using my cricut to cut the mickey mouse head.

Depending on what cartridge you use you can make just about everything.

I used my cartridge to make all the signs, decorations and other things for my sons 1st birthday party.

If you get one I suggest getting one that cuts 12x12 paper. I have the cricut expressions and love it.

uscgmouse, Thanks so much! I loved the outfit!!! Would I need to be computer savy with this machine? Because I am not :cool1: Also, to be clear on this, on your outfit the Cricut cut out the mickey head on the material, but you still had to sew it on?

No you do not have to be computer savy. You buy the cartridges and then cut what you want. When I made my outfit I cut the Mickey head and then sewed it on myself.
If you have some time check out youtube and search cricut expressions. There will be a lot of videos showing what you can make and things you can do.
You can find good deals on cricuts now through HSN and other sites. Google cricut expressions and see what the lowest price is that comes up. I saw one today online that came with 2 cartridges and was around $169. I got mine on overstock last year.

Good Luck.

Don't know much about the circuit machine. Is it for paper? Fabric?

Both. I use it for paper most but I sometimes cut cotton fabric with it. I have only cut out letter and simple shapes. I used the cricut to cut out the mickey heads I made for appliques. I just iron on some head bond to the back of the fabric and run it through the machine.

The above video is 4 years old but gives you the basics of what the cricut can do.
