I heard a snippet of the song his morning and it is amazing! I don't like the movies but to me the song is pure Bond. Smoky and sultry as only Adele can.

As far as the song, I would call it classic Bond. Her voice seems a bit off key in places? IDK, maybe it is me. I do like Adele, but this was a bit "high" for her maybe with regards to the lyrics.

Every time the commercial for SKYFALL plays, I tell my DH I can't wait to see the movie, he says "You mean see Daniel Craig?"

Love it! DH and I have a date to see that movie. I have not seen a 007movie in a long time. Of course, no one compares to Sean Connery, but Daniel Craig is not bad.

I agree! I LOVE ADELE! I think her voice in this song is incredible. However, I dont care for this song. Its a good song for 007, but its not the kind of song i'd sing along too. hmmmmm, maybe thats not a bad thing.

I do like the song but I think the intro to it is just a tad bit long for a Bond movie as well as I'd like the tempo to be just a tad bit faster.

Thanks for the link. It is similar to some of the classic Bond songs yes. I'm not a big Adele fan, there are songs I like and I do like this one but I don't love it. I also don't like Daniel Craig as Bond....but I know I'm in the minority on that. lol
