okay so everyone can enter at the same time? what time would that be? fireworks are at 10 and my reservation is at 9 so how early can I arrive? Also, is it too much food to go to dinner before the wishes party? I have a res. for 430 at via napoli...is that too much food?

When I went in the past, they let us in about an hour before Wishes. If you go much earlier you will just be lined up with everyone else. Tables are assigned with your family's last name on the table. I would recommend eating an early dinner or a kid's sized meal. There is a lot to eat there and usually my eyes are bigger than my stomach.

Wow! I said yesterday we weren't going to book the DP and you guys made me change my mind. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I booked Dec 12th for 7pm not more than an hour ago....so just for fun I tried to see if I could book the same night for a different time....and it looks like the 12th is sold out.

I guess that means our table will be in the very back corner, next to the kitchen.......hey.....wait a minute. That wouldn't be so bad ;)

I would recommend eating a late lunch. When we went in June we ate a very late lunch (approx. 2pm), at Peco's Bills. It was perfect. We were hungry by the time we got to the DP.

Booked the December 8th. for 3. Wishes is at 10pm. The 9pm reservation came up so it should be a good table.

Thank you guys, I just had a look on reservations before heading to bed (I'm in Ireland) - nothing available. I assumed it still wasn't open but had a quick look here first & was shocked to see it's now open - tried again for a few different dates, still no luck. Then remembered the little trick mentioned a page or 2 back to include infant - score :thumbsup2. 2 adults now booked for Dec 10th, guess the baby will be sick that night ;). I do feel a bit guilty for doing that, but I was desperate :confused3

Nothing seems available on 5 Dec. I already have 28 Nov, but had hoped to get 5 Dec. Looks like we'll stick with our 28 Nov ADR.

December 2nd for 2. I know it's during MVMCP, but these are the two things my DH really wants to repeat this trip! Last year was our first holiday season trip to the World, and he really enjoyed the dessert party and MVMCP. I just hope it doesn't rain this year. It poured during the Christmas party we attended last year!

Good luck to everyone trying to get December dates!

Is Fantasy in the Sky the same as the regular Wishes nighttime spectacular, or is it a diffrernt show altogether?

Fantasy in the Sky is what they do for NYE and the NYE preview on the 30th - it's the midnight fireworks. It is different and it includes a countdown to midnight. Holiday Wishes is what is shown at the MVMCP, or in place of regular Wishes AFTER the MVMCP parties end for the year through New Year's.

It's the early you book the better your table. The actual time has NOTHING to do with anything. No matter what time slot you have, everyone is allowed to enter at the same time. Your table will be pre-assigned based on when you book (not the time you book for). DO NOT cancel an later time reservation to get an earlier time slot. You will be working in reverse.

How big your party size is has nothing to do with it either!

Thanks for the information. I had thought it had to do with the time to get in, but since I made the change within half an hour, I doubt it moved me much. I've checked the 10th several more times tonight and it has plenty of room. It will be a great experience either way. I will know next time, thanks again.

I'm confused. I booked for Dec 20 @ 8:45 is this a good time or did I wait too long to book?

The fact that you got a reservation is a good thing.

Apparently, the time of the reservation indicates where your table will be, not the time you can get into the party (all tables are allready reserved by family name when you enter the party). Everyone can go to the party as soon as it opens. There is more information on the dessert party by clicking on the first link in my signature. Hope this helps :thumbsup2

What's the earliest time available per booking? And how many people per time frame? Sorry,o can't find any info anywhere.

The times change for each different night, depending on when the fireworks begin, but i'd follow the advice in the post above by rt2dz :thumbsup2

I posted this on the other Dessert Party thread, and though some may benefit from it here too :thumbsup2

There is only one Dessert Party per night. Disney has a strange way of their reservation process, and they use segmented times for their reservation process. It's guesstimated that the earlier reservation time you have, the better seating you may get. What that pattern entails, i'm not sure.
The Dessert Party generally begins about 1 hour before the Fireworks show. Despite the time your reservation is for, all people that have a reservation for that evening can arrive as soon as the Party begins...so, lets say you have a 8:45 reservation, yet they start letting people in at 8:00pm.... You can arrive at 8pm and enter then.

When entering, each table is pre-assigned, so it's not a first come first serve kinda thing. Your family name will be taped to the table you're assigned to. (so, the reservation time might be used to determine where your table may be...either way, when you get there, your table is preassigned). If you have a reservation for 2 people, you have a table for you and your guest...there are no sharing of tables. You get your own family table.

When you are seated, you are instructed that shortly before the fireworks begin, you may stand at the railing for a better view of the fireworks. You get your desserts from the tables, and the wait service will clear your table as you finish your plates. There is no limit to how many times you get desserts from the dessert table.

I hope this may clear any questions you may have. There are other little tidbits that i may not have mentioned, but can be located throughout the thread. If you have other questions, feel free to ask. i'm sure someone may have the answer for you :thumbsup2 (Post 168 from Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party Information Thread)

Lots of good info here. To this I will add (based on my experience in July):
They will give you a wristband when you check in so you can leave the area and return.
The food is replenished often and the CMs will announce to each table when it is last call.
There is a photopass photog there positioned to take photos with the castle in the background.
They don't make you leave when Wishes ends. The vantage point for viewing MSEP isn't awesome but we were told we could sit for as long as we wanted.
