Can anyone tell me what room they stayed in and what it was like?

We stayed in Building 3 room 3218 our last trip, which was a corner room with a King bed ... it was very nice. :thumbsup2

Building 6, 3rd floor, room 6307 - garden view. Room was very clean and quiet. We never heard any outside noise - the whole resort seemed quiet. We loved it. :thumbsup2

Headed there in a week and a half myself! Can't wait to see where we end up. I didn't make a room request, honestly b/c I couldn't figure out what we really wanted! Ground floor seems nice, but then I saw lots of reviews that said 3rd floor made for a great view. Then some said that central buildings were nice, but others said buildings further away had great atmosphere. So, I decided to take luck of the draw and see what we get! (King room won't be an option for us, although I'd love it, b/c we have 2 kids and 2 adults going. :)

ooo I like the sound of your building 6 room......

I don't remember the exact room number but we stayed on the first floor in buidling 4. We were so close to the bus stop that we could look out the door, see a bus, and hurry and catch. Prime location if you ask me. :thumbsup2

On our most recent trip we stayed in building 1 in room 1325. It was on the third floor and it was basically the furthest room from everything. I didn't make any requests as I always felt I didn't need to with the resort being so small. I now wish that I would have asked if it would be possible to move but at the time we didn't want to bother with it. Don't get me wrong,it wasn't so far away it's just that my reason for booking POFQ was the small size of the resort but my room was as far away as when we stayed at CSR and POR. It was my fault though so I take it as a lesson learned. Next time I will make a room request and if I don't get it I will politely ask for a closer room. If I still don't get it I won't be upset because we really love POFQ.

Yay!! We will be there at the same time! We will be there the 10-16th!:cheer2:

2004: Stayed in building 7 room 7248. It was a corner king on the 2nd floor, river view. That room was technically one of the farthest out but it still only took us 7 minutes to walk to the main building and food court. Loved it! Perfect for a romantic anniversary trip!

2006: Stayed in building 3 room 3233. 2nd floor, 2 double beds. I would describe it as a "courtyard" view. Turned the corner, walked a little bit, and went down the stairs and on over to the main building. Location was fabulous as we had our 3 year old with us.

2011: Stayed in building 2 room 2218. 2nd floor, 2 queens. This was a great location for a trip with our 2 girls. Easy walk to the boat launch, the pool was super close, and still a 3 minute walk to the food court! This was also a courtyard view, as we looked out on a large grassy area.

We stayed in Building 1 on the third floor, don't remember the number of the room, but it was the farthest away. I had originally wanted building 6 or 7, but found out later that they were not using building 7 and only some of 6. We ended up loving our location. We love to walk and found that it wasn't a long walk at all for us. We had a standard room and expected a view of the parking lot which it was but to our surprise we also had an excellent view of the river. Not that it matters to us because we close our curtains anyway, it's not like we have a balcony. It was super quiet which is exactly what we wanted. I would request this location again. As I said before, we don't mind walking and don't like being near the foodcourt or bus stop. We have a car and were able to park right outside our room. The resort is small so there really isn't any "bad" location.

Enjoy The Magic!!

When we arrived they put us in 5110 (i think), and it was ground floor (we requested 2nd or 3rd floor) and it was a wheelchair accessible room (large bathroom, with 1 sink and a roll-in shower). The extra space in the bathroom is taken from the sleeping area. With 4 of us including 2 teenagers, we were not impressed. We move to 5306 the next day, which overlooks the pool. While you could hear the jazz music playing if you listened hard, it was not an issue, it was quite pleaseant. The food court was only a few steps away and the bus stop as well. Perfect location and great resort!

I had 5139 last September. Building 5 1st floor backside facing the courtyard where they show movies. Loved this location. About halfway between busstops and boat dock (as in equal time to walk to both). Never was bothered by the movies or the kids playing before hand, couldn't hear them once my tv was on.

I don't remember the room number, but we stayed in building 6 on the top floor, river view. We loved it, it was quiet (I don't know if I would have liked a building near the pool), but still close to the pool, dining hall, bus stop and you could walk right downstairs and jump on the path to POR. We are staying at another resort this trip, but originally had booked POFQ and had planned on requested this building again.

Building 6, 3rd floor Rm 6320. It was halfway down hallway directly across from nightly movies which we did not hear at all! I was so surprised we heard nothing at all from anyone else in our room. The marshmallow roast was on the other side of our building. It was 2 queen beds. You could cut through a building to go to the bus stop instead of walking all the way to the main buildings. (which was only a short walk too) My DD loved to take the stairs but old mom took the elevator up to the room and she beat me every time :lmao:

Building 1, top floor, facing the Sassagoula River, room 1332. Pics in my TR of the room for anyone who is interested. :teeth:

I may be wrong but I believe Room 3232 is located in building 3 ... the first number designates the building number and the second number is usually the floor number.

I don't remember the room number, but we were in building 5, top corner floor, facing the courtyard. The corner room was fabulous!!

Rm 7104, bldg 7. It was a beautiful resort--quiet everywhere, but I DEFINITELY wish we had gotten a more central bldg. The walk to/from buses, while shorter than some other resorts, was still quite long with 2 tired kids. There were plenty of days when we were at the restaurant and needed to run back to the room to get something or drop something off and I wished every time that we were in a closer bldg. We happened to be on the OTHER side of bldg 7, facing parking lot, so not many more rooms that were further away than ours, but I wish we were closer to bus, front, food court, pool, etc. Even rooms that were right beside the main area seemed quiet, so I don't think noise would have been an issue for us. LOVED being ground floor, though, definitely would want that again!

Ooops! Yep, you're correct ... I fixed it! :teeth:
