Having just returned from Disneyland Paris and seeing all the Halloween decorations I got a bit excited and bought some decorations. I can't wait to put them up.

So I wanted to know if any one else decorates for Halloween?

Hope you enjoyed your trip! My sister decorates for Halloween! Its her favourite holiday :) I always say I will but never do :lmao:

Look forward to seeing it!

I think having the Halloween decorations keep me from putting the tree up too early lol! X

I'm not a fan of Halloween, I never have, even as a kid, though I love seeing everyone's photos of their decorated houses and pumpkins and it was fun buying gifts for the DIS Halloween exchange

Have fun putting your decorations up, I hope you will all post some pics ::yes::

Oh good some one else who will add some photos hopefully :) x

I love Halloween and usually put up a few bits and bobs ... because of the total mess my house is in at the moment I won't be doing anything at all ... but hope to start doing proper US style decorating from 2013 onwards when I have my new rooms all kitted out. Look forward to seeing your photos everyone.

Hoping to get some more decorations for this year :)

We used to decorate a little and have a party when the kids were small. But we always made sure they weren't visible from outside the house because I don't like random "trick or treaters" that I don't know from Adam calling.

Snap!! :)

We used to decorate our conservatory

but disconnect our doorbell for the night so that the constant ringing didn't annoy the dogs! :rotfl2:

Love the picture.

For the first time EVER we had trick or treaters last year. When I lived at home mum and dad live down a very dark and might I add scary lane so no one bothered. Then DH and I lived in a flat on the 2nd floor I guess no one wanted to walk all those stairs.

I do worry about the knocking on the door late as the front door is under DD's bedroom and she will not sleep if she thinks she is missing out on a party.

I don't normally put too much up and then only if we are actually going tobe in to receive the trick or treaters!
This year while in Walmart I splashed out and got an orange pumpkin door hanging thing for 99c!! I also have a ceramic pumpkin that you put a candle in and place by the front door. Thats as far as I go with the deccies:) and never put them up inside the house.

For some reason we can never tell how many trick or treaters we are going to get, some years we have loads of them and other years we have had 1 or 2 of them..

only 8 weeks before my Christmas ones go up and thats another matter entirely....:goodvibes

Last year, we went camping for halloween, so of course we had to decorate the tent...

but we also had to have our little bit of Disney.....I carried that kettle all the way home from WDW as my hand luggage!!!

Ha ha I love the Disney kettle so cute. That's brilliant though did you get any trick or treaters?

Hi Tinks
Yes we did, there was a group of 8 tents so we did fancy dress, trick or treat and halloween pumpkin carving, it was great. We're going again this year. One of our group has a fire pit made from an old washing machine drum, so we gathered around that for hot chocolate (with a dash of rum for the adults), toasted marshmallows and some sparklers.
