DDC XXII - End of Summer Bash

Morning guys. The remote still hasn't cooled off from all the use yesterday. Some great games to watch (sorry Barry). Made chicken florentine and rice last night that was really tasty. All in all a good day.

Both my dds like TOT. DW hates TOT, and squeezed the hand rail so hard the last time that she bent her engagement ring band. She is not allowed to ride it anymore.

That is funny.

DW made me breakfast casserole. What is it?...

You made me hungry, birthday boy. Now I have to make breakfast.

Ticked off another piece of the March trip for the cruise, we bought our plane tickets home. I guess now we will have to leave Florida.

Thanks! We bought trip insurance just in case she can't make it. Her next post-MRI visits with the docs is Wednesday.

Back from the soccer fields. Team had the 2:30 game, refereed the 1 & 4 game, and Board Meeting to follow. But, soccer is now on a two week break for school Fall Break. Team rolled again today.

Always interesting with a new boss. I usually take all the gossip with a grain of salt, but am more interested in what they do.

I plan on going in and just doing business as usual, my usual routines and see what happens from there (check out inventory, send out order etc). Some things I've heard is from a co-worker who's worked for him before.She's the one most put-out because she doesn;t want to go through it again. For the most part, I haven;t heard anything concrete though. I am apparently the "linchpin" of the store so where I'll stand now we'll have to see. In some ways I hate the idea of that, means no one else wants to step up. Tomorrow my buddy comes in as the new assistant, so my place has to be knocked down a notch.

Is it sad to say I hope he comes in raising hell? I feel secure enough that I won't be put off, but want to see others squirm.

We made great time both going and coming back from Busch Gardens, we dropped off Hunter at the In-Laws for the weekend (he would have been too scared), that was a half hour out of the way, but we left the In-laws around 6:30 and made it to the hotel before 1 even with hitting heavy rain, when we left the hotel to come back at around 9:00 we made it to their house by 3, from now on we are taking the Town Car it just cruises down the highway and my back didn't even bother me from the drive

DW made me breakfast casserole. What is it?

5 eggs
16 oz. shredded cheese
1 pound sausage
2 cans crescent rolls.
Optional bacon (which really isn't optional).

Scramble eggs. (don't cook).
Fry sausage. Fry bacon. Need them hot when you go to next step.

Bottom layer roll out crescent dough as one big sheet. Cook in oven for 5 minutes at 375.

Add crumbled sausage & bacon, eggs, cheese, and then top layer is the other can of crescent rolls.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

(if sausage isn't hot when you add the eggs, the eggs may not cook up enough)

And, just to make it even a little more unhealthy, serve with a jelly on top. I prefer strawberry.

Good Evening/Good Morning.

Another long weekend of work in the books. Had to actually do some work today, which prevented me from enjoying the early games. Finally got settled in watching the late games around 5, and kept watching right up until it was time to go at midnight.

I'm slipping a bit on keeping the weight off. I've found myself eating every day a few things that are probably just okay to have here and there. Tomorrow (technically today) is now Oct 1st. Time to put it out there in writing that I am getting back to eating better. I will make my goal this time not to lose a lot of weight, but to get myself in better shape.

By the end of the year, I'd like to be 10lbs lighter than I am now, but not sure how to judge the exercise part??? should I just see how many reps of pushups/situps/pull-ups I can do, and then make a goal to improve by a certain amount. The end of year goal is roughly 90 days... maybe I should try one of those 90 day workout programs.

Morning All!

Back from my trip to San Diego. It was OK, probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't working 10-12 hrs a day. My laptop was made by beverly, so I actually had to go out and buy a wireless usb adapter so I could use my Iphone to get on the internet. The hotel's wifi was so bad I couldn't even surf the internet from my phone. Don't think I will be staying there anymore.

DS has another soccer game after school and right now it is sunny but they are calling for rain this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to standing in the rain for another couple of hours.

It will be a tough one for DW. DS's opponent this afternoon is the school where she teaches. She said she would sit in the middle.
