Finally getting close to San Diego. Very long boring flight. I even broke down and did some work on the plane.

Matt

Did some work on the plane? How did you do that with the plane flying? Wait, did you buff out the fingermarks on the wing from the gremlins?

CRUD!

Not back yet but maybe in a couple of more weeks. Work chaos will be back to our usual SNAFU status soon. Over 1500 people through last week for Field Day and other events but the Dean and Department Chair were both happy with how things went.

Homeschooling, Girl Scouting, coaching the kids Bible Quizzing teams, and trying to maintain two places while keeping SWMBO and the offspring placated takes what time is left aside from sleeping.

Welcome new guys, congratulations to those deserving and prayers for those in need.

Hey norm, what do y'all normally do on MNSSHP nights? Some people have said there's too much goin on for rides, just curious what most people do

I am going to jump in here too...lol...When we go we get there as soon as they start letting party ticket holders in (4pm) and we get a bight to eat...then we ride a few things until the party gets started...we trick or treat in all the stations ride along the way...most thigns are walk on or very little wait. We ride rides during the first parade and then watch the second parade.

That sounds like a good way to spend the party, I guess we really don't have a plan, guess we r gonna wing it as we go

We do rides!!! We get to park before 4:00 PM, like Steve said, you get in at 4. We are going to try one one of those Sleepy Hollow sandwiches and Dole Whip if we can get to both. The other plan may be to get picture with Tiana over near LTT, but she goes in around 4. Party starts at 7. If train construction is done, that walkway has most trick or treating stations. We hit the second parade and of course, Hallowishes. Favorite parade spot is over by LTT & hallowishes is on tomorrow land bridge with seats.

We skip dance parties and pictures.

We r going to do our best to get there at 4, DD is gonna want to do dance parties, so besides meeting up with y'all, when we get there we r going to do rides until DDs 630 BBB appt, then after I guess do more rides and treating, would like to wait to the 2nd parade but going to have to judge how DD is doing and If we think she will make it to the 2nd parade and of course a dole whip is in the plan

Thanks for info. I think there used to be four stations, one on each side for a total of 8 bins. Well, instead of just trick treating on right or left side, we went to both sides. Lots of candy.

We did them one year, but now, just rides.

i used to let mine nap in afternoon so they could stay up later for party. Don't forget to get your authentic Halloween party stuff while there. We get one pin each year and their not sold outside MNSSHP.

Hey guys! Hope everyone is well! Haven't had a lot of time to hang out . A lot of administrative and clinical work. More than I would like. 2nd Wood Badge weekend starts Friday! And then things should settle down next week during another trip to Chicago.

Blessings to those who need them, congratulations to all who deserve them! Stay Disney my friends!

Hey guys.....

been real busy what with work, we're slowly building up to Thanksgiving, meaning extra busy, not to mention prepping for the new assistant next week, and a week after that the new boss. :sad2: Also bad is staff wise we're streched thin already, and illness and misfortune are taking more out.

Also though, on pins and needles cause the word on the next round of transfers should be in the next couple of days. New store opens in less then a month, so they gotta staff it to get it ready post-haste. We'll see, the District Manager is going to be making rounds soon.

When we did the Pirate and Princess Party, Amelia just wanted to do the dance parties, not as much in the MNSSHP. We did everything spread out over two parties.

If you are going to do any photos, do the Haunted Mansion ones, they look great.

Heading down to Busxh Gardens this weekend for Hollow scream, this time we are taking my car, it gets much better gas milage on a long trip:confused3, it's a 8cyl rear wheel drive, we usually take the 6cyl front wheel drive mini van, both take the same amount of gas but I'll get about 85 extra miles with the 8cyl rear wheel drive, I guess torque plays a big factor:confused3
