Pools at the resorts?

I need to know if the pools at the moderate resorts are clearly marked with the water depth. My daughter will be 9 when we do to the resort. she is 4ft 7 inches tall but she can't swim. I need to know if she can still use the slides and stuff at the pool. I don't want her to be upset that she can't use the slide.
Thanks for your help

They're marked. The slides are in the deep end though.

Yes they are clearly marked all around the pool. Do not know what Mod you are staying at, but here is the pool info for POR.
•Maximum depth: 5 feet
•Minimum depth: 3 feet (entry via a gently stepped area, not zero-entry)
•Length of slide: 95 linear feet
•Water depth at base of slide: 3 ft 6in

They are marked. You can also get a floatation vest for your daughter while she is using the slide and in the deeper parts of the pool. I forget where you get them as my kids have been swimmers since they could walk. You can call the hotel and they will confirm.

Have fun!:yay:

For mods, items are only available at the main pools; if you use a quiet pool, you will have to go over to the main pool to get it first. (same for towels, by the way, also)

Also, you can never call the resort directly; you go to a CCC (Central Call Center). Depending on how well the CM has been trained and can find the info on the computer; they may or may not give you the correct answer all the time.

It is actually better to post here and get the correct answer from someone who has been.

From what I recall, the depth at the bottom of most of the slides we have seen average about 3 1/2 feet deep. My son was 4 on our first trip to WDW. We stayed at the Poly and we borrowed a floatation vest from marina which was next to pool. He was fine and had a blast. Since then, I have been to many resorts and have seen children wearing the vests in the pools. I am not exactly sure where they got them at each resort. But I am sure a CM or lifeguard will be happy to show you.
