POP warner 2012 which resorts

I'm wondering if all the teams stay for the entire week, or as they are eliminated they head on home? I did notice on the PW site that had info from last year, that they had to book at least three days. Just wondering. :cheer2:

Some do start leaving, but those who have been there before or who can afford it stay all week.

The kids that rely solely on fundraisers to pay for their trip will book the least amount of days and leave as they are eliminated.

I have to agree, I have been to Disney several times during the Pop Warner super bowl and never ran into any issue. The only time you reallt see them in the parks is late afternoon or in the evening as they practice and have games most days.

Try staying in a resort with them.

It isn't the kids, it is the parents......

Never again.

OK ...have headr about" POP WARNER" before , now for the dumb question who/what are they and what is wrong with them? We are DVC so no resort worries , however I have heard people rant about " The POP WARNER " people in the parks.

In the parks, the girls will cheer in line.

Football players and competitive cheerleaders ages 5 to 16.

The games/competitions are held at Wide World of Sports. They are required to buy a Disney room/ticket package, they cannot stay offsite.

FYI

This is directly from the pop warner official website

A three (3) night minimum stay is required and includes a standard room at Disney’s All-Star Resorts,
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. All participants/coaches must
book a package through Disney Sports Travel and stay at these select Walt Disney World® Resort hotels*.

Looks like the resorts for this year are All starts - CSR - and CBR

I've merged these two threads asking the same question. Thanks.

and sometimes stop and preform their routines in open spots in the large area of the walkways which is TOTALLY inappropriate!

Granted, it is NOT all of them. But like anything else, it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the whole batch. And the cheering in line gets REALLY old REALLY fast...and the chaperones don't do anything about it. They think it is the girls' right. What about everyone else's rights?? Sorry stepping down off my soapbox now....
