Don't forget to add postage and joining fee

I'm expecting CEM's to be on line very shortly too. :goodvibes

If you don't need a free child AP and a Fantasy AP is good for your dates look at the Fnac/Carrefour offers in the flash sale on until the 21st as they are at 119€

There is no joining fee or postage to add on to the Fnac/Carrefour tickets and you can print them off at home

AP Fantasy : 119 €

You receive a direct acces ticket to be exchanged into a 1 year Fantasy AP on the first day of your visit - valid for exchange in the AP office until the 30/11/12

great information - thanks for posting it all Carrie :).

Yes, thanks for posting Carrie.

Our Aps (Fantasy) ran out in July, so we'll need 5 new ones when we visit in December. Presumably the family discount + Shareholder discount combined, will still be the cheapest option?

You get 35% off like that no ?
So with Fantasys at 159€ - 35% = 103.35€.
Even if they went up by say 10€ to 169€ you'd still be below at 109.18€ :thumbsup2

If i buy one now with the free child can i validate it in march 24th (we arrive). Or would i need to wait till closer to the time for a newer offer. Basically what im asking is there an expiry date on this current offer???

Thanks for posting Carrie your a star :thumbsup2

It's too early for you with these as it says on the announce that they should be changed before the 1/3 for the Francilien and the Fantasy and the 9/3 for the Dream.

Wait a bit until after these have started being sent out (say mid Oct) and we'll see if they dates change ;)

What are the pros/cons of the Francilien? We are going over Thanksgiving weekend in November. I was going to purchase the 30 euro a day tickets for a family of 5, but then saw this offer. Could we order the francilien and use right upon arrival?

A Francilien can't be used on the 2nd or 3rd day after activation so it's not much good for a weekend stay.

The Fantasy can be used without this delay and the parking is included in the AP saving you 15€ every time ;)

Have a look at the different options plus the blackout days over on DLRPMagic

the Francilien has blockout dates in November - are your dates a blockout date? -

also, the Francilien can be used on the day you get your permanent AP from it (this is day one) then it can't be used for the next day (day 2) or the day after that (day 3) for park access. It doesn't matter when you buy it, its the day you activate it (day1) at DLP that counts for the non-contractual dates.

Ahh forgot about the 2-3 day activation wait. Still think it will be cheaper just to get the 30 euro per day (for 2 days) for this visit.

Depends when you are thinking of coming back and if your children are under 7 as you are getting the free AP's.

Plus free parking so that's 30€ saved, the 10% discount on all meals (c/s-t/s-buffets) in the park and nearly everywhere in the Village plus off souvenirs.

All adds up :goodvibes

Sorry for asking but I think (and we talked about this here on the forum earlier) that there are no blockout dates when you stay onside ?!

This means that you can always buy the cheapest AP when staying at a Disney Hotel.

There are no blackout dates if you are staying on site and have an AP but the 2 contractual no use days (2nd and 3rd day after activation) on the Francilien still stand and you can't enter the park even if you are staying on site.

It is in your contract and there are no exceptions.

You would have to buy a Fantasy or do something else on day 2 and 3 :goodvibes

OK....thanks for the info.

I will order an AP by post far in advance, so I don´t have the 2 day difficulty.

:thumbsup2

The 2 days start after the day when you activate it in the park at the AP office (ie when you sign your contract and they take your photo) not from when you buy it from anywhere.

So it doesn't matter if you buy it now for use in January the 2 days still will stand :goodvibes

Hmmmm......I have to ask again.

I need the AP for 26th March 2013 onwards. So my plan is to buy them via post at the beginning of February.

I will stay onside so there will be no block out dates for me.

Does it means, that I can not use the Francillien on the 26th ?

:confused3

If you buy them in February by post, and you don't go to DLP to get them made into a permanent annual pass before 26th March, then 26th March, when you do get your posted AP made into the permanent laminated annual pass at DLP, is the first day of its validity. You can use your AP on 26th March for park entry (this is Day 1).
This means you cannot use it for park entry on 27th March and 28th March, but after that, apart from on Francillien blockout dates (or if you are staying onsite), you can use it for one year from 26th March 2013, for park entry. As Carrie said earlier, days 2 and 3 after you validate your AP (so for you 27th and 28th March) are not blockout dates, but they are non-contractual dates, so as far as I'm aware they can't be used for park entry on either of those dates, regardless of where you are staying.

We purchased Fantasy passes back in April. I was thinking of planning a trip the week of 28 October, but we have blackout dates of 27-28 Oct and 31 Oct-4 Nov (so the only dates available that week are 29 and 30 October). Are you saying that if we stay at DCR (or any other Disney hotel), we can use our APs at any time during the week? Obviously we could if we bought a package for everyone that includes tickets, but I was thinking of trying the "book one adult package, add everyone else at checkin" strategy.

Sadly, I can't read my AP contract as it is all in French.

Thanks, Carrie! :goodvibes
