Guess what came in the mail today.....the invite to participate in the new Fastpass+ testing!!!!! I literally squealed when I saw it. I have a few fellow TA's who got chosen and I keep reading over on the Sept thread about all the DISers getting chosen as well. I was feeling quite left out! I can't wait to go pick out my 4 fastpasses!!!

Disney is going to be testing their new Fastpass+ system from Sept 18-24th. This is the program where you will be able to pre pick your FP's before you arrive. We were able to choose 4 FP's from 2 sets of groups. The times weren't exactly what I wanted, but you're able to choose new times later in the process. You can even pick FP's for MSEP and Wishes!!!!

I can't believe I'll be WDW a week from this moment!!! With that in mind, I really need to finish posting my daily plans and outfits. Only a few more days left to post and that's so sad.

Day 5-Saturday, Sept 22nd

This day I'm being a bit ambitious. I know we have MNSSHP the night before, but today is EMH at DHS! It might be our only chance to get on TSMM!!! My family really has no problem waking up early, even after a late night. We had MNSSHP on our last night 2 years ago and we had to be up very early to check our luggage and get to 'Ohana for a 9am ADR.

Anyways....once we get to DHS and are allowed in, I'll head straight to TSMM and grab FP's. This is one ride that has me concerned with Cole. I really don't want him to sit between me and Madison because I'm afraid he'll slide around too much and I've read from others that he cannot sit on my lap. AH!!! I don't know what to do! Maybe we'll just take turns riding with Madison....that might work out better.

After TSMM, I'm not sure what the plan will be. Definately Star Tours for Madison and RNRC & ToT for Tony and I....maybe Madison will ride??? I know she won't do RNRC...she does not want to go upsidedown. We'll try to pack as much in as possible because this is the last time we'l be in this park on this trip. We then have an 11am ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe. We had so much fun here 2 years ago and I hope we get a great server again. Madison enjoys putting her elbows on the table and getting "scolded" for doing so.

After lunch, we'll head out of the park (unless we have FP's to use or something like that) and go back to POFQ. By now you know we'll swim or nap...possibly both. We then have to get to MK by 4:40pm at the absolute latest. This is the night we'll be testing out the new Fastpass+!!!!

We were able to choose 4 attractions from 2 different lists. I just had to choose MSEP...no waiting an hour before the parade for us!!! It says we'll get to watch the parade from in front of the Castle...PERFECT! I'm sure they'll have a section roped off or something like that. Anyways....we also chose the Jungle Cruise (that always seems to have a line), Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan's Flight. You still get 1 hour time slots and ours go back to back to back. The original times didn't work for us, but you're allowed to choose new times later on. We could have chosen things like Space Mtn, Splash, Big Thunder, Dumbo, etc but I wanted to pick things that typically get long lines (even in Sept) and things we could all do together. Based on availability, I can change our selections up until the end of the day I chose.

Ok, back to other MK plans. While we enjoy testing out the new Fastpass+, we'll check out other attractions too. Our Jungle Cruise FP is first, so once we use that we'll stick around Adventureland and do Pirates, Magic Carpets, Tiki Room; then we'll probably move to Frontierland if we have time. Madison said she might try Splash Mtn again (she rode it when she was 6 and was traumatized)...fingers crossed! She loves BTMRR so hopefully we can fit in a ride there.

Our next FP's are for Fantasyland so that's where we'll go next. I'm sure we'll be able to walk onto Small World and Philharmagic...we love it! I'll try to use our Winnie the Pooh passes right towards the end of the window so we can pop over to Peter Pan immediately after. We'd still like some time for dinner (obviously) and Tomorrowland. We love the Laugh Floor, Buzz, TTA (I still call it the Peoplemover) and we need some time for Space Mtn. We have to arrive at the MSEP area between 7:40 and 8pm. Wishes is at 9, so we'll probably grab a snack/use the bathroom and wait for the fireworks. MK is open until 11pm that night, but I think we'll head out after Wishes. We have another EARLY start the next day!

Outfits!!!

Me and Madison...again, I can't decide on the shorts. They both look good! I absolutely LOVE Madison's Dumbo shirt. It looks so cute with the gray shorts.

I have started checking the weather and it's making me very nervous....lots of rain!!! I'm hoping that will all change as we get closer to departure day. I'm totally fine with the daily Florida rain shower, but I do not want all day rain or thunderstorms. We have our ponchos and stroller covers, but I don't want to use them all day!!!!

I can hardly sleep! I pretty much have to be super exhausted...I've been reading a book on my Kindle....it's about the 40 years of Magic at Walt Disney World! Reading can make me tired, so that's what I've been doing.

In order to be picked for the new FP testing, you have to be using Magical Express. Our card won't come in the mail in time, so we'll be picking it up when we check in for ME.

Gotta love Target and their new Disney Artist line!

I think we'll just play it by ear with TSMM. Rider swap may have to be used....I'm pretty competitive with Tony on that ride and I need to beat him! Having to worry about Cole will kind of make that difficult. Safety first!

Saw some cute toys yesterday at Target..you might want one more thing to entertain Cole on the plane...they were on an end cap at my store~they looked like pull toys,..one was Dumbo, Simba, Bambi as babies. I didn't look closely but they were hard, not soft, but were soooo cute!!!!

Thanks for letting me know! I think I'm pretty much set on stuff for the plane. I have the little toy cars that I posted a picture of and lots of books...he loves books! Babies r Us had a 12 pack of Mickey board books!!! I won't bring all of them, but I'll bring a few. The $1 section at Target also had a very Mickey board books (small ones) that I picked up yesterday. I really think he'll fall asleep after awhile on the plane. We'll have the laptop and I'll bring some movies, but he's really not into watching movies or tv.

Day 6 - Sunday, Sept 23rd

We will be up bright and early again today because we have an ADR at the Crystal Palace for 8:05am!!! We absolutely love our early breakfast at CP....nothing is better than walking down an empty Main Street and taking in all the sights. This will be our 3rd time at CP and it has never let us down. It usually takes us about an hour to eat and see all of the characters which is perfect....we're usually done right around park opening.

After breakfast, we will probably run down Main Street to try and get into the Barber Shop. I'm going to cancel my appt this week because I'm just not happy with the time. I figure if we can be there when it opens, we'll be ok. I think once Cole and I have had enough to eat, we'll start walking towards the Barber Shop and Tony & Madison can meet us there.

The rest of the plans for the day are....there are no plans!!!! I literally could not decide what to do or where to go for the afternoon/evening. We'll have been at MK the past two nights, so we probably won't end up there. Our only planned visit to AK is our first day, so we could go back. The park will be open until 6pm, so it's an option. I'm not interested in going back to DHS....just not enough for us to all enjoy there. The one thing I'd really like to do is go check out the Art of Animation Resort. I've heard their food court is amazing and I have a client staying there in December. The Little Mermaid section opens this Saturday and that is where they will be staying. I'd love to take some pictures and email them out. Their 4 yo daughter is going to love it!

The other option is to go back to DTD...we love it there! We have not been able to get a sundae from Ghiradelli on our past 3 trips!!! The last time we went there was when Madison was 3 years old and she doesn't even remember it (we always stop in the store for our free sample of chocolate though). We could do some more shopping (which I love) and just enjoy DTD at night. It's so pretty!!! I'd also love some Earl of Sandwich! Does anyone have any thoughts on where we should go and what we should do??? HELP!!!!

Ok, outfits.....

This is one of the shirts I'm not happy with. I think it looks amazing, but I don't like how it looks with any of my shorts. Plus, I like Madison's better! Hers has more orange and mine has more brown.

So, I bought this shirt at Old Navy last week! It was in the clearance section for $4.99!!!! The tye dyed shirt just fits so tight and I think I'll be too hot. This shirt is nice and loose and comfy.

Cole's outfit for the day. Since I have no idea what we're doing the rest of the day, he doesn't have a second outfit. I have some spare outfits that are coming with us, but I didn't bother taking pictures of them.

In other trips news, I just got my CARES harness in the mail today. I rented if from someone on ebay (reputable...all she does is rent CARES harnesses). If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a link:

Kids Fly Safe

They are normally $75 to buy and I was able to rent one for $15! I have to pay to ship it back and have it postmarked two days after we return, but that's better than $75! I do plan on using it since we bought a seat for Cole, but if he needs to fall asleep, I will definately hold him. Since he's not 2 yet, he's not required to be in a car seat or even have his own seat! I just wanted something to keep him safe in case it's turbulent and I did not want to bring his huge car seat with us.

We'll actually be going to Epcot the next day. It is our favorite park, but I feel like we're always on the go. It would be nice to just have some downtime (which we never really get). I know I'll be able to make up my mind when we're there...my family will also get to give me their 2 cents. That will be new for them! I always plan out all of the park days and I get their input about ADR's. They have never decided where to go for a day.

Hmm, I can't imagine an unplanned night at Disney! AOA could be fun-- their food court would be great for dinner. Plus, it would be easy enough to take a bus to DTD if you tire of it early or want to shop.

Ugh I'm nervous about the weather too!! I've been stalking wunderground and weather.com like a hawk for the last week...I swear it changes every hour. I definitely don't mind a passing thunderstorm but when we went in March 2010 it rained NONSTOP. Of course we still had fun because it was Disney but it get's old just feeling wet & soggy after a while - I really don't want to repeat it!

Of course I've also been following the "weather" threads on the TP boards and everyone says not to worry about it - it usually nice and sunny with a passing thunderstorm. Cross my fingers!!!

I probably won't be on the DIS too much before we go, so have so much fun! Can't wait to read your TR when we return
