Just got back from my awesome stay at Disney, and the test stay was awesome at LM..here is a link for the pics...it was a little hectic due to some issues with the door locks and room problems, so was a little chaotic, finally got some pics, then was off to the parks since my daughter was off. I will just say that LOVED LOVED LOVED IT..my 3 year old daughter kept saying she was in the movie..enough said I think! Enjoy!

Thank you so much for sharing these photos! I am now even more excited than before! LM is my fav Disney movie. I am not sure who will love the room more, me or the kids. I can't wait to see that shower in person. So fun!

Thanks so much for posting!! I love the interior pictures! Did you feel that it was a long walk to Animation Hall or the buses?

The walk to the food court/front was not bad at all, jmo, there is so much to look at, you don't pay attention to the time, really.. but it did get tiresome walking back and forth several times in a row to get the room door lock fixed and corrected, but if just once, it is just fine, lol. That whole resort is like walking into a Disney movie, absolutely mind blowing to me. You guys and especially your kids are going to have the time of your life!

Just to note, for peeps staying on opening day, get ready for the new plastic smell of the room! Some people like that, I know, but it was strong. My only thing I wished they had did, was put a little shelf over the vanity sink. I kept trying to put things up there, then realized they did not have one! LOL..

I love the shower too! So ready to sing..."Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you say my collection's complete?" It takes singing in the shower to a whole new..uh..depth?

Okay, we are total goobs. Checking in on the 18th complete with LM shirts and dinglehoppers in our hair!

We stayed in Nemo on Aug 25th, and even though the room had been used, it STILL had the new room smell -- was awesome!

Seriously I can't wait to see it but I'm going to listen to another poster that said to wait and be surprised in person. DD is going to be completely surprised and that I really can't wait for.

See you all Saturday morning - we're a family of 3 if you want to look out for us - dh is English (skinney and English pale), DD is 12, tan, slender with blonde hair and glasses- if she's not in her purple bathing suit she's in a dress!

I have a few questions. I requested the LK section, building 10, to be near parking and to be away from pools (love them, just want some quiet time). I saw somewhere that there are movies shown some evenings in the LK section, and they are loud. Can anyone confirm this? If so, I'll request a room facing the parking lot. Maybe I can see some Fantasmic fireworks if I get on an upper floor!

Also, are the rooms stocked with paper plates, napkins, silverware, etc? Just need to know whether to add them to my shopping list or not!

Love this thread Will be checking in just 17 days from today! Woo hoo! We are not renting a car and will be using ME and bus transport. My question is do the food courts sell yogurt, like little containers of Yoplait and such. ITS ALL MY SON EATS!! I don't think I can bring enough of it on the plane for the whole stay, and I have no way to get to the supermarket! We have a few breakfast buffets scheduled (Tusker House, Cape May). Do they have yogurt containers or just yogurt in a bowl that you serve yourself? Thanks!!

They also have yogurt next to the cooking stations in the coolers...basic yogurt - purplish pink containers? Wider than they are tall? Sorry, we bought yogurt from grocery delivery, but I do remember seeing them.

We were in building 8 (room 8644)..and actually I thought, oh, great, the farthest building out, ugh! But is was actually fine. I prefer being closer to parking and do not mind a view of the parking lot (haha) but if you like a view of the lake, it is farthest from parking, but it is beautiful. Distance wise, I really did not feel they make much difference between the 3..building 8 was a little bit longer away from the main hall, but only by probably 1 minute, tops. I am telling you, there is so much to look at, you won't even notice distance, but of course, I was only there for a day, lol. After a couple days, it might have gotten to me!

You guys are so welcome! You guys are going to be over the moon (or under the sea, haha) with the LM. I was truly, truly impressed. That bathroom was out of this world. My daughter did not want to get out of the tub, that is for sure. I am not sure I understand why people are saying they are not impressed with it. Maybe they should take a break and desensitize themselves, from all things Disney for a brief stint..I don't know. Anyone that can stand there, gazing at the wonderment I saw before me, and say they are not impressed? Boggles my mind but oh, well...leaves less crowds for us!

Really can't wait!!! 2 more days and we will be there! Looking forward to staying here even with my kids being 18 & 20! They love Disney as much as I do!!!!
