Thanks. We won 3-0 and dd scored first goal of season. I refed two other games. I think I need some new shoes - my feet are killing me. But, they were some really good games. It is a big difference from U8 to U10.

Congrats on the win.

Yes, my DD insisted on LM rooms and since the wing will be less than a month old when we are there, I said sure , next time we will prob stay a little closer to MK , but I'm excited to see AoA in person

Really? POP is the worst resort we've stayed in. The long, filled to brim bus rides and walk back to room was bad.

yep. I have had some long bus rides. And I haven't stayed at my DVC resort yet, but we've gone back to POP every visit. Sorry you didn't enjoy it as much

49rs Packers game is pretty good. Surprised the Pack are getting beat up like this though...

Akers FG to end the half was awesome. 63 yards, and not an inch to spare! :thumbsup2

what do you think made the louder sound... akers kick off the crossbar, or vernon davis getting rejected by the crossbar?? :confused3

I don't like to hear that at U6. We play 3v3 or 4v4 on 2 fields with that age division, with no positions. The coach may mean rotation playing time by season. I really enjoyed playing soccer and my youngest really didn't get into it until U8 when she played on all girls teams.

I defer to your experience since I'm a newbie to this. I can see how smaller teams would be better. Doesn't appear to be enough coaches/assistants from what i saw to manage so many teams. That could be the issue. I'd volunteer if my schedule allowed it. unfortunately, they practice on weeknights when I am at work.

btw, congrats on the win!

not looking forward to those long bus rides to MK , might have to see if Jeeves aka Norm can be our MK driver, I tip really well!

I mean it was still a Disney vacation, so I didn't not enjoy it. Staying at POP made me want to stay at CBR, which had me buying into DVC @SSR. Then, SSR led me to stay at BLT & BWV, where we wn as well. So, I guess it was worth it.

Thanks. Coaches and field space are the most common problems. I wish I had made it a priority in to continue playing in high school and college. It was a sport I really enjoyed, and even if you are only playing club soccer, it is still form and great exercise.

I played, but when I started coaching, I went and got my youth and then D license. I added is some futsal footwork skills to my practices. I enjoy it enough that I could make a career out it,, although, coaching jobs are hard to find. Hopefully, I could find a school in FL near WDW.

my previous post was brought to you by... OWNAGE!!

And a padding post to spare.

sorry. We only use Disney transportation. That's why we own at BLT & BWV. A 5 minute walk to the park, or transportation via monorail or boat to DHS. I think the only time we are getting on a bus is to go to DTD for our Fulton's ADR.

I know I was just kidding anyways, I'm a horrible tipper (not really) anyways, what day are y'all doing DTD? After we get done at AK , me and a friend of mine who lives in Orlando are going to DTD for dinner and drinks since AoA doesn't have much for food and have yet to see where they have "drinks"

ah, yes, the path to DVC!

Ours was ASMR, CBR, POR, buying SSR, and have since stayed at BWV, BLT, and BCV.

even if DD ends up not playing another sport and just doing dance, soccer would help. all that running around alone makes it worth it!

Sunday. We have ADR at 5 for Fulton's. We will probably get to Giradhelli for me and that one store That serves the the candy apples for DW. I need to get some pins at the pin store.

BCV is the only one we haven't stayed in the far (East Coast). We haven't been to Aulani or VGC yet.

would love to own at both of those!! BLT was awesome!! Spoiled us by being able to walk over to MK, or take the monorail to epcot. We hadn't taken the monorail to epcot in a very long time.

We've never had that problem there. We have had full busses bit had that at every resort we stayed at. I also found the rides to fairly quick. The longest rides we ever had was the one stay at All Star Movies.

Well she gets off work at 5 so there's a good chance we may run into y'all then too, DD and my mom are planning on staying at the hotel at night checking out the poolside movie so Sunday night it'll just be my friend Alexis and myself

Now CBR we really didn't like and thought the bus ride just around the resort was terrible. The walking from the room to the main building was much longer than at Pop.
