Wishes Fireworks after Hoop Dee Doo

I'm hoping to make reservations for the Hoop Dee Doo Review on Saturday August 25 and then watch the Wishes Fireworks show afterwards.
I was hoping to to catch the 7:15 show (should end by 9PM), and travel to watch the fireworks show that will start at 10PM.
Here are my questions:
1) Is this feasible? Can I reasonably expect to travel from FW to the MK area in about 1 hour?
2) Where is the best place (outside of MK proper) to watch the show (I’ve heard Bay Lake Tower has a great observation deck)
3) What’s the best mode of travel to get to the fireworks show? I’ve heard the boat is probably best, but can drive. Maybe I should park at MK and take the Bus to FW.
4) Should I just play it safe and catch the 5PM show?

Thanks in advance!

Here are my questions:
1) Is this feasible? Can I reasonably expect to travel from FW to the MK area in about 1 hour? I think it would be VERY tight. By the time you get on the MK boat and get to the MK it will be at or near showtime so finding a good viewing spot will be very difficult
2) Where is the best place (outside of MK proper) to watch the show (I’ve heard Bay Lake Tower has a great observation deck) Only those staying in BLT can use their observation deck. There is a public one on the 4th floor of the CR-but again you would be hard pressed to get there in time to get a spot
3) What’s the best mode of travel to get to the fireworks show? I’ve heard the boat is probably best, but can drive. Maybe I should park at MK and take the Bus to FW. IMO driving takes too long. It involves taking the bus from Pioneer Hall, driving to the TTC, then the monorail or ferry to MK. Taking the boat directly to MK is much faster
4) Should I just play it safe and catch the 5PM show? YES! This will give you ample time and you won't be all stressed out over the tight time frame and fighting any crowds.

Thanks in advance!

Hope this helps

Another option is to hang out after the show and watch Wishes from the FW beach. They pipe in the music and while it's not as close up as being right in front of the MK, it's a pretty view. What makes it even prettier is that the fireworks reflect off of the water of Bay Lake. Not a bad option if you really want to keep your later show time and don't want the rush to see them.

Did a quick search and found this topic which was right up my alley... I am aiming to do the Hoop Dee Doo to FW beach for Wishes... never been, is the restaurant venue close to the beach?

Yes, but we found the view from that location, near the dock to be awful. You really couldn't see anything meaningful but the highest fireworks and they are all off to the side in a weird way. It's nothing like viewing Wishes from the Poly, for example. I understand there are okay places to see Wishes from FW, but I don't think the dock area is part of that.

Thanks for the reply! Did Wishes from Poly beach last family visit, and it was awesome... so I wanted to try another MK venue like that, and it coincided with dinner plans. We will feel it out... traveling with 5 and 6 yr olds, they may not have the energy anyway! We just don't have a solid wishes night in the park due to too many things to explain :) However, we do have California Grill reses at the right time to watch the show, so if it isn't FW beach, it will be during dinner at the CG anyway! :) Thanks again for the reply.

I didn't think the view was horrible! We had dinner at Hoop and then walked down to the beach and found chairs and sat there and watched both the electrical parade and then the fireworks and thought the view was fine (along with hundreds of other folks!) It actually was a very nice night and a fun bit of down time sitting on the beach in the dark talking and the kids walked up to the water and looked around. And a nice ending to having a big dinner and good show then capping it off with fireworks and relaxing versus jumping right on a bus or boat and going.

We liked it a lot.
